The front cover is a picture of where the video will be taking place. This is so that the audience can see the kind of place the main character works in.

The store was chosen as the front cover as it is a discount store and people can make the connection from the song and album to the album covers.

This is the front album cover of the greatest hits from the Guns n Roses. As you can see there is some similarities through the way that the album cover was done.

The use of the guns and of the roses, which is the symbol of the band, suggest that they are trying to say that the album belongs to them, like they have stamped the album cover and is now their property.

It also allows the audience to see straight away through the use of semiotics that this is Guns n Roses.

Like all other album covers we have labelled the album with the album name and also the band name

This is Bon Jovi’s album cover for Lost Highway, as you can see there are similarities between this album cover and the other two.

The use of a picture of an empty highway makes the audience connect the two things together. Therefore showing the message to the audience of the album name “Lost Highway”.

Also the use of a car shows us that they have been travelling long distances.

This is similar to the world famous Beetle’s album cover from Abbey Road.

The use of the cartoon effect is again used to allow continuity.

The use of the receipt again links into the discount store theme and name, this allows the audience to make the connection from each picture to make a strong connection to the album name.

The use of a simple background with just a simple image is very common within albums. Including the band’s name on the back cover. With a simple background.
