Page 2: Evaluation (Media)

• I used on my front cover the type of language which is associated with rock music lovers. And the font and pictures were also related to the type of music my magazine is about. The Picture I used was dark and in a graveyard – death links with gothic rock. And a masked man standing in a dominate stance conveys to the audience it’s a rock magazine. The masthead; the word ‘RED’ was in a dark crimson red colour to signify blood.

Maybe

• I found out from my feedback (survey) that a lot of people would buy my magazine if it had a good free giveaway. So mine comes with a free gift every issue. I would make it clear exactly what my magazine was about, with big bold letters for my Main cover line ‘THE GREATEST GIG EVER.’

• I also placed my main selling points on the left third so that the buyer can see it, and be attracted to my magazine. The graph shows that over half of the people who did my survey would more likely buy my magazine if it had a free gift
