The colour scheme is red, black and white which represents people interested in the indie/rock genre.

Red stands out against the white background and therefore catches our attention more. Signifies danger and caution.

Mid-shot of artist is used and model represents the younger demographic, so the audience can relate to her easily.

Lots of sell lines and band information intrigues the reader and makes them more willing to take time to read the information as it looks interesting.

Colour scheme has continued from front page and an engaging image takes up the background space.

Polaroid's of other artists gives audience an insight to the contents of the magazine and allows them to decide on whether it will interest them or not.

Different social networking icons helps to appeal to a wider audience as they can access the information from the magazine in various ways.

Extra information underneath each page title gives them an insight as to what they can find on each page and if it will appeal to them or not.

The image is very powerful and as the page is quite minimal, it adds focus to the photo and therefore attracts the reader.

The pull quote is very inspiring for the reader and reinforces how much her life has changed and that anything is possible.

The model has eye contact with the reader to engage them and the photo of the female is very sophisticated to give the female demographic something to aspire to .

Various shots are used to change the page layout. But the same theme is continued from the first double page to keep it consistent.

The images link directly to the text, reinforcing that the interview is with her and makes it more appealing as they can see who is being interviewed.

‘Exclusive’ makes it appealing to the reader as they know the information is new and up to date with the artist.
