Horror trailers For this task we must talk about our trailer and poster according to its conventions and how it follows them. For our trailer Penitence, it must have followed the conventions of a Horror trailer including the 4 part structure where it explains the narrative. It also must have enigma and narrative codes which should leave the audience guessing what could happen. The magazine cover somewhat gives away clues of what/who the killer is could be however, no one knows who they are unless they see the film is made. Not much is given away from the poster except that the pig mask is a piece of evidence that the audience must find out why it is there in the first place. Overall, the promotional package all together must follow the conventions of Horror in order to be part of the Horror genre.
