1. What have you learnt by doing this exercise?

I have learned how to use the camera properly, how to make a film and ordering shots which I had recorded. I know the difference between low and high key lighting and how to use my teamwork skills. When I made my video I used continuity edeting. For example I know how to use the camera properly because my team made a video. I knew how to order my shots because I knew how to use my shot log. Also I know how to use High and low key lighting because I had to stay after school and Hannah taught how to use the lights to remember the difference between high and low key lighting. I used my teamwork skills because I worked in a group with Lexi. My continuity edeting skills can be seen on my blog. http://mmasnromantschuk.blogspot.co.uk/p/prelim.htmlAfter doing all of this I know now how to make a film.

2. What skills have you developed?

I developed skills to improve the look of my work. For example when I made a close up the first times it was very shaky but the more I tried the better it got. I also developed the skill to put my videos together to one film. I done that with the edeting technique. That was the easiest way to do it. I learned a lot of different shots and how use them to make my film looking professional. Also I developed the skill to work in a team, because me and Lexi planned everything and we wrode the script for our film together. After this experience I think I am able to have a look for good films and good shots other people have done.

3. What feedback have you received?

The feedback about my script Joseph gave to me in the lesion was good but there were some space to improve my work to make it better. I think that was a good impression because know I know what I can do to make my work more professional. For example when someone is going out of the room and you film how he is going out you also have to show how is coming back in again. If you don’t to that it would confuse the audience. Before the feedback I haven’t thought about that but now I would remember that by doing the next video. But at the moment I haven’t got feedback of the film because nobody has seen it yet. Over all the feedback gave me a good start to add or improve my work to get a better grade. I think feedback is a good way to tell somebody what he has done well and what he need to look at again.

4. How would you improve your Preliminary Task?

I would improve the video first by looking through it again and then I would stop at that scenes I don’t like to write down what I could do better. I think that is a good way to do it because when you write everything down you can’t forget it again. For example when you look through it and there is a scene where a girl is getting ready like in my video and you see that there is something in the picture that doesn’t fit into you can write that down and later you will remember to cut that out or to record this video again. Over all I think that would be the best way to improve your Preliminary Task.
