In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge

forms and conventions of real media products

From the beginning, scenes and shots from breaking bad had really inspired us. However we especially liked, the shot from inside the bag as it looked cool and created effect for our sequence. Both the shots, shows us the expression of the character and clearly what is happening.

We thought this shot from inside the roof of the ceiling was one of our best shots, and I have compared it to the air vent shot in die hard. Our short is mainly used to create suspense, where as the one in die hard is much more quick paced and fast moving. However I believe that our shot creates a better effect overall

The opening to our scene was meant t be inspired from The Stepfather. However we didn’t execute it when filming the final product very well, we wanted the neat tidy look as it created more suspense and would have looked quite creepy, but we just couldn’t get the shots right. However ours is more fast moving but still does create some forms of tension and suspense.

These shots are both of escapes from a building, ours and one from G-men. The shot was supposed to be like a fire escape and build tension, but I don’t think we achieved this as well as we could have. However the shot worked as after he escapes from a fire exit. Both are taken from inside a house which is more unconventional.
