As part of the tour, you have the choice of either commencing or concluding your tour with the Monaco Grand Prix. Tour I starts with the drive from Baden-Baden to Nice, followed by the weekend at the Grand Prix of Monaco. Tour II starts with the Grand Prix before departing Nice for Baden-Baden on the supercar driving tour.

On both tours, you will spend four incredible days driving a fleet of the world’s best supercars on some of Europe’s – if not the world’s – most famous driving roads. This cross-country adventure allows you to enjoy diverse roads and conditions, from Germany’s renowned Black Forest backroads, to the twists and turns of the Swiss Alps, the fast-paced Italian Autostrada, and the meandering country roads of Provence, France.

Featuring a curated mix of switchbacks, lazy bends, and fast straights, the route will challenge and exhilarate any avid driver; More than that, it is also breathtakingly scenic. Enjoy the misty evergreen forests of south-west Germany before we trade these in for the lush pastures, snow-capped mountains, and gushing waterfalls of the Swiss Alps. Then, the Alps give way to the Italian lakes and vineyard-covered hillsides of Piedmont’s renowned Barolo wine regions. Finally, we head into the more arid landscape and charming villages of Provence.

Each day, we guarantee that your surroundings will delight and amaze you as much as the stunning cars and driving roads. Thursday will be a rest day before the adrenaline continues with the Grand Prix of Monaco.

Tour I: Drive Arrival/Departure Specifics

For guests not opting into the Stuttgart Experience, please arrive into Stuttgart by midday on Saturday 16 May. From here, we will meet at Le Meridien for lunch, after which we will depart for Baden-Baden. Here you can spend the afternoon enjoying the avante-garde Roomers Baden-Baden, an escape for the jet-set elite, far removed from the hustle and bustle of Stuttgart. In the evening, the group will reconvene for the official welcome aperitif and dinner.

On Thursday 20 May, enjoy a leisurely breakfast along with the hotel’s amenities. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Nice to check into your accommodation for the GP. That evening, those who wish to start early can join us for the optional evening with Mark Webber aboard our superyacht, see page 11 for details.

Tour II: Drive Arrival/Departure Specifics

On Tuesday 26 May, please meet in Nice at 1pm for transfers to Grasse. Following arrival and check-in to the award-winning Terre Blanche Resort, spend the afternoon enjoying the hotel’s extensive wellness and golfing facilities. In the evening, the group will reconvene for the official welcome aperitif and dinner at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, La Faventia.

On Sunday 31 May, after the conclusion of the driving tour, enjoy a sleep-in and leisurely breakfast before we depart for Stuttgart. The group will return to Le Meridien in the city’s CBD. From here onward travel plans will be arranged. For guests who have opted to join the Optional Stuttgart Experience, we will start at midday before enjoying a final dinner and overnight accommodation. See page 10 for details.

Accommodation and Dining

The spectacular driving experience is complemented with luxury accommodation in historic hotels and castles, ultra-luxury resorts, and charming villas. You will also spend your evenings dining in a series of celebrated restaurants, helmed by award-winning chefs.

On arrival into the hotel each evening, car keys can be exchanged for a cold drink, after which you will have time to enjoy and explore the hotel. Later in the evenings, over a dinner of seasonal local produce and fine wine, you can trade stories with the group and enjoy the panoramas of your surroundings.

Saturday and Sunday are an action-packed extravaganza. From Practice to Qualifying, and of course, the Race itself, you will be treated to an incredible and adrenaline-filled weekend of motorsport. Guests have a number of accommodation options for the Grand Prix of Monaco. Many opt to stay at the Palais de la Méditerranée on Nice’s Promenade des Anglais, featuring a convenient location and stunning views of the Mediterranean. Alternatively, you can choose to stay in the centre of the action at a selection of luxury hotels in Monaco, or aboard our superyacht, of course! Simply contact our team to discuss options.

During your time aboard our superyacht for the Grand Prix, you will enjoy all-day gourmet catering, as well as a full premium bar and free-flowing champagne. The dining package includes morning tea, a luncheon, afternoon canapes, a substantial supper, and late night snacks.

Be treated to a guided tour of the Mercedes-Benz Museum, as well as the Porsche Museum and Factory.

Beginning with Mercedes, explore 125 years of automotive history and passion in its futuristic, architectural award-winning building. From here, the group will move across to Porsche; and take an in-depth look at the evolution and technological feats achieved by this iconic marque throughout the 20th century and until today.

After a day of automotive achievements, take stock over a cold drink; while debating your favourites with the group. We will begin with an aperitif at one of the city’s renowned biergartens, before enjoying an evening at a Stuttgart culinary institution – The Zirbelstube. Here you will sample Executive Chef Denis Feix’s signature menu.

Arrive into Stuttgart by midday on Friday 15 May. Following transfers from the airport, meet at your luxurious hotel for the evening – Le Meridien, located in the city centre. For those seeking to kick off the adrenaline of the weekend a touch earlier, before the GP you can drive real ex-Formula 1 race-cars at a private circuit in the south of France.

The experience is amazing - these 2002 Prost F1 cars are real ex-F1 cars and have a genuine F1 Championship chassis. They feature a 650HP V8 Cosworth engine, while weighing less than 520kg, giving these incredible machines a power/weight ratio twice that of a Bugatti Veyron!

Whether you have a background in racing, or are completely new to the track, the day is designed and tailored to your experience, and to give you an insight into the incredible achievement that is driving an F1 car. After a weekend watching the Grand Prix of Monaco, could there be anything better than getting behind the wheel of an F1 car and experiencing what the drivers

Own travel arrangements are to be made before the commencement of the Tour and following its conclusion. On request, the UDT team can provide advice or assistance with arranging flights.

All tour guests will give a contribution of $750 USD to the fund, which will cover fuel for the tour vehicles. This fund also covers major tolls, minor damages, and other group expenses. The purpose of the fund is to keep our insurance excesses as low as possible, which is a maximum deductible of €10,000, as well as limit other costs borne by you. The fund does not exclude your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you drive is not damaged under your care – wheels, tyres, windscreens or other damage not specifically covered by insurance will not be covered by this fund. We will pay for fuel where possible, but any fuel or toll receipts paid for by you during the tour must be submitted to us for payment within 30 days of the conclusion of the tour for a refund.

Which vehicles will be in the fleet?

Our fleet is comprised of a curated selection of latest release supercars, tailored to each tour and tour style. The number of cars in the convoy will depend on the number of guests, and is based on two guests occupying each vehicle. Our average tour size is 16 people and 8 supercars. Over the course of the drive you have the opportunity to drive all the cars in the fleet, cycling in a set order through 2-3 cars per day. Professional instructors are always on hand to provide assistance as you move through cars and all cars are insured with a deductible in place.

How does the driving work?

The drive operates in a loose convoy, with a lead and sweep car (driven by professional drivers), and two-way radio contact between all vehicles. The lead car navigates for the convoy and provides updates on conditions, so drivers can focus on enjoying the cars and drive. The sweep car ensures no one becomes lost or separated from the group. The drive is around 250km/155mi over 7-8 hours per day including regular stops for morning/afternoon tea, lunch and driver/car changes.

What type of roads do we drive?

Our team has spent over a decade researching and identifying the best roads in the world. We do our best to avoid heavily trafficked cities and seek out the freedom of the open road. The routes chosen for our tours cover a selection of different road types relevant to the location and tour type, from the tight switchbacks and hairpins of alpine passes, to loose, flowing country backroads, and fast-paced autostradas. The driving roads are also incredibly scenic, so whether you’re behind the wheel or passengering for a section, you will be sure to enjoy it!

What type of guests do you have on tour?

Our tours are a mix of guests from around the world. We have friends, family, business associates, and more attend, including plenty of couples. While we do recommend sharing the experience with a partner or in a group, we can also cater for drivers coming on their own, in which case you will be partnered with another solo driver. Ultimately our groups are made up of like-minded people who share a passion for motoring as well as the finer things in life. Many go on to keep in contact after the tour and often become life-long friends.

How does pricing work?

Your tour package is priced per person and based on two people occupying each vehicle. Typically the driving is shared between occupants, who alternate between being behind the wheel and being a passenger. Should your partner not wish to drive, then you will have double the time behind the wheel, and they can enjoy the stunning scenery and excitement of riding along. As outlined on page 22 and to the left of this page, your Tour Investment will be comprised of the Tour Package, Accommodation and Dining Package and any Optional Add-Ons.

Where do we stay and eat?

The places you stay each evening and the restaurants in which you dine should complement your overall experience. Our team seeks out luxurious and unique hotels in the regions we visit, from ornate castles, to private villas, boutique resorts and more. Dining is always a social affair, pairing gourmet cuisine with fine wine, over which the group can share stories and experiences. Guests will always stay and dine together; the only difference with package options is the room category and occupancy type, as well as extras.
