Dear Friends,

the Czech Swimming Federation on behalf of the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) has the pleasure to invite all affiliated federations to participate in the European Junior Artistic “Synchronised“ Swimming Championshipsin Prague (CZE) from 18th to 23rd June 2019.The Championships will be held in accordance with the FINA and LEN rules and regulations.Looking forward to seeing you in Prague!

Venue

The event will be held at the Swimming pool Podolí, Podolská 74, Prague 4, Czech Republic. The venue has already hosted several international events like the European Synchronized Swimming Cup 1998 and Euro-pean Junior Swimming Championships 2009.

All LEN affiliated federations are eligible to participate in the European Junior Championships.

Eligibility Age

Athletes 15 – 18 years on 31 December 2019.

Final Entry & Accreditation deadline

Please note the following deadline date:

May 25, 2019Final entry form, with accreditation form and photo,is to be submitted to LEN and OC.In addition, the rooming list and the music are to be submitted to OC.

Accreditation

Federations entering the European Junior SY Cham-pionships will receive accreditation free of charge for the following members of their team: • President of the Federation • Head of Delegation • Competitors • A physician • Team staff members: o 5 for up to 5 competitors o 6 for up to 8 competitors o 7 for more than 8 competitors

However, the number of team staff members may not exceed the number of competitors.Team staff members include anyone servicing the team: Team Leaders, Chaperones, Coaches, Physiother-apists, Interpreters, etc. Officials such as judges are not considered as team stuff members.

Accommodation

In order to ensure the most favourable prices, the OC is directly in charge of the accommodation process

for the participants. Single, Twin and Triple rooms will be available. The reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of Hotel Accommodation Form and required payment. Official transportation and the full board will be pro-vided only to those who make their booking through the OC.The reservations will be made on a ‘first come first served’ basis.The rates are per person per night, including break-fast, lunch and dinner.

Team Services

EJC volunteers will meet all the teams arriving by plane at the Václav Havel Airport, the Prague Main Railway Station or Florenc Bus Terminal. Our volun-teers will escort the teams to the hotel transportation. You will find an EJC team information desk at the official team hotel and at the Podolí Swimming Pool venue. The information desks at the hotel and at the venue are there to assist the teams with any questions regarding the Championships, practicalities, transpor-tation, etc.

In case your team, in addition to these services, needs an assigned team attaché, please inform the OC by email at prague2019@czechswimming.cz by May 30th 2019.

Transport

The OC will arrange transportation between the Vá-clav Havel Airport, the Prague Main Railway Station or Florenc Bus Terminal in Prague and the official hotels in the period of June 15th – 24th 2019.Transportation from the official hotels to the competi-tion venue and back will be provided for training and competition days from June 16th to June 23rd 2019.A complete schedule of transportation will be posted at the information desk in the official hotels and also at the competition venue.

Music

The performance music should be prepared according to the FINA rules AS 15.3 Method 2.Team managers/coaches are responsible for submit-ting their music electronically in .mp3 format. Each submission shall be labelled as to event, name of the competitors and national federation.Audio files must be sent no later than May 25th 2019 via email to: music2019@czechswimming.cz

Passport check

The Head of Delegation must present the passport of each team member before collecting the accreditation cards. The data on accreditation card will be compared to the data on valid passports of all participants and staff members.

Entry visas

Citizens of countries needing an entry visa to the Czech Republic are requested to contact the OC. We will provide an official invitation letter and will do our best to help obtaining entry visas. All applications for visa shall be made in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Czech Republic.In order to avoid administrative problems when re-questing visa, please contact the Embassy or Consular Authorities of the Czech Republic within your country in due time prior to your planned departure to the Czech Republic.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the competitors placed 1st - 3rd in each event.Diplomas shall be awarded to the competitors placed first to eight.

OC requests all Federations to check their National anthem and flag at the Team Leaders Meetings.

Supervision of the Event

Management Committee: the LEN Technical Commit-teeJury of Appeal: will be in accordance with LEN Rules and Regulations.

Insurance

Insurance of the participants is upon the sole responsi-bility of the respective Federation.

Medical service

The organizer guarantees that medical staff (ambulan-ce included) will be available throughout the duration

of the Event. For the sake of clarity “duration of the Event” means 2 hours prior to the start up to 2 hours after the closing of the Event by the Referee.
