DEFINITION:
• The EAA is a European Non-Governmental Organisation• The EAA is a voluntary ‘not for profit’ association of
incorporated anglers at European level
Cooperation with:
• Environmental organizations • Recreational organizations• Water management bodies• National governments• European Union

The role of EAA at NASCO• EAA has brought the NGO’s together at NASCO
so the NGO sector now speaks with one voice to the member governments
• Together with WWF, EAA stimulated a 20 year review to make the organization more effective
• NGO sector is now a full participant at NASCO meetings, not just an observer
• NGO’s play a full part in all NASCO working groups including SALSEA (Salmon at Sea)
