    Real wood veneers exclusive finish

The secret to a relaxed, livingroom feel: Hand-selected realwood veneers are the expressionof comfortable sophistication. The exclusive finish is achieved inthe way the tineo veneer is used:Horizontal grain that extends un-interrupted across the length of

the kitchen run and even aroundcorners. The niche light panel positionedat the back of the worktop un-derscores the elegance of this kit-chen design. Domestic appliancesare not allowed to detract fromthe sophisticated look. Yet thiskitchen is amply equipped withmodern conveniences. They areconcealed behind lift-up doorsand behind the unit fronts.

Bronze-coloured glass impressively stagedA luxury loft apartment withan inspirational kitchen.Designed with a sophisticatedmix of materials: bronze-co-loured glass, dark brown oakand exclusive brushed andflamed granite. Handles areunthinkable in this design. In their place, indirectly illu-minated offset rails reinforcethe sophistication of thehandleless kitchen. Pull-outsand internal drawers areelectrically activated. Even theappliances cede their ground. They are integrated in a highwall of units, which is closedwith folding doors in bronze-coloured glass. The illuminated

niche light panel draws the eyeto the shelves and commandsattention with its changingcolours, which can be individu-ally set with a remote control. In the kitchen island the visualimpact of function is also redu-ced to an absolute minimum. The sink matches the worktopin colour and material. Theflush-mounted hotplatesmerge almost invisibly withthe granite

Traditional feel instead of built-in kitchen.(pictured above)

    Sweet gum tree

expressive eleganceKitchen tradition and lifestyleaspirations come together inan attractively creative soluti-on. The link between them isthe combination of pure whitelacquer and high gloss sweetgum tree veneer. The lifestylecharacter of this kitchen islargely due to the designopportunities afforded by the

Kitchen Living System. Wall-mounted sideboards take theplace of conventional baseunits and are combined withsweet gum tree panels and anelegant niche light panel tocreate a surprisingly sophisti-

cated yet rigorously functionalwork space, which is flankedby flush-mounted appliancehighboards.

Attractive symbiosis of horizontalsweet gum tree veneer and the

new pure white smooth lacquer.(pictured above)

Lowboards in place of base unitsdistance the design from the con-ventional kitchen. (pictured right)

Miele DIE KCHEs LED lighting systemcan now be integrated simply and easilyinto the global standard for buildingtechnology EIB/KNX and is thereforecompatible with all domestic BUSsystems. This makes it possible to switch

all of the lights in the kitchen on or offvia a touch screen, touch pad or evenfrom outside the home via telephone. Itis also possible to programme the levelof lighting to suit the time of day or theoccasion.
