Euro−P pumps of the ER3 and ER2 series are reliablequality products for the following range of applications:

Pumping and homogenizing of viscous or fluid liquidsin the agricultural area (e.g. liquid manure) as well asin the industrial area (e.g. raw sewage, waste waterfrom food production like mash)

These pumps may not be used to pumpflammable or explosive liquids.

TransportTransport

Die Pumpen dürfen nicht amElektroanschlußkabel oder am Steigrohrangehoben werden.

Die ER3 und ER2−Pumpen können am Mantelrohrangehoben werden.

Gesamtgewicht der Pumpe beachten.Hebezeuge, wie z.B. Kran und Ketten müssenausreichend groß bemessen sein und den

jeweils geltenden Sicherheitsbestimmungenentsprechen.

Die Pumpe beim Transport nicht werfen oder stürzen!

Nicht im Schwenkbereich von schwebendenLasten aufhalten oder arbeiten!

BeschreibungDescription

Die Basis der Pumptechnik der Baureihen ER3 undER2 bildet die Kreiselpumpe. Dabei sind die einzelnenKomponenten so konzipiert, daß sie untereinanderaustauschbar (kompatibel) bleiben. Der Austauschvon Getriebe− zu Elektroantrieb ist durchvereinheitlichte Schraubverbindungen leicht möglich.

Die elektronische Steuerung orientiert sich an derPraxis und ermöglicht eine unkomplizierte Bedienung.

Bewegliche Teile wie Laufrad und Propeller mithohem Wirkungsgrad sind langlebig undverschleißarm durch Hartmetallkanten.

Die Antriebswelle ist wartungsfreundlich durch einenSilizium−Carbit−Gleitring abgedichtet.

Kühlung und Schmierung erfolgt auf der Grundlageeiner Ölfüllung im Mantelrohr, welche sich gleichzeitigschwingungsdämpfend auf die gesamte Welleauswirkt.

ATTENTION

The »Safety Instructions« must be studied with carebefore transport, set−up, installation andcommissioning of the pumps!

The pumps should never be raised by theelectrical cable or by the uptake pipe.

The ER3 and ER2 pumps can be lifted by the mantlepipe.

Note the total weight of the pump. Any hoistused including cranes and chains must beadequately dimensioned for the height of the

unit and must comply with all safety regulations.

Do not topple the pump when moving!

Do not stay or work in the swivel area of asuspended load!

The base of all pumps of the series ER3 and ER2 is acentrifugal pump. The individual components aredesigned in a compatible way and are exchangeableamong themselves. The exchange of the gearbox toelectric drive is easily possible by standardized boltconnections.

Due to modern electronic control devices theoperation is uncomplicated.

Rotating parts such as the impeller or the propellerblades are wear resistant by tungsten carbide edges.

Sealed by a silicon carbide slip ring the drive shaft canbe maintained easily.

The oil filling in the mantle pipe achieves cooling andlubrication. Furthermore it acts as an anti−vibrationmechanism to the entire drive shaft.

Vor Beginn der Wartungsarbeiten ist diePumpe von einer qualifizierten Person allpoligvom elektrischen Netz zu trennen und gegen

Wiedereinschalten zu sichern.

Pumpe zum Schutz vor Verkleben nach jedemEinsatz waschen. Motor nicht mit vollem Wasserstrahlabspritzen!

Achtung!Keine Hochdruckreiniger verwenden.

Before commencing any maintenance workthe pump should be completely disconnectedfrom the mains by a qualified person. Care

should be taken that it cannot be inadvertentlyswitched back on.

Wash the pump after each application to prevent theliquid from sticking together! Do not hose down theelectrical motor with a water jet.

Attention!Do not use any high pressure cleaners.

Getriebe:

Erster Ölwechsel nach 50 Betriebsstunden, dannnach je 200 Betriebsstunden.

Ölstand öfters kontrollieren und ggf. nachfüllen,maximal bis Kontrollschraube (Füllstandskontrolle).Bei Schwerstbetrieb sind Zusätze wie Molykotevorteilhaft.

Mantelrohr:

Öl−Dauerfüllung im Mantelrohr ca. 2,5 ltr. pro MeterRohrleitung SAE 30/40, kein Ölwechsel. Ölstandöfters kontrollieren und ggf. nachfüllen, maximal bisEinfüllschraube.

Achtung!Nach den ersten fünf Betriebsstunden sindsämtliche Schrauben nachzuziehen!

Aus− und Einbau des PumpenlaufradesInstallation and removal of the impeller

1. 4 Schrauben M16 am Pumpengehäuse lösen undRingdeckel abnehmen.

2. Wellenmutter lösen, Scheibe abnehmen.

3. Laufrad abziehen. Hierzu 2 SechskantschraubenM12x20 in vorhandene Querbohrung derLaufradnabe stecken und mitScheibenabzieherarmen hinter Sechkant−schraubenkopf fassen.

4. Zum Verkleinern des Laufrades größtenDurchmesser der Fördeschaufeln (8 mm dick)abschleifen oder sägen.

Faustregel:

Pro Ampere Stromaufnahme zu viel, ca. 1 mm jeFlügel abtragen.

Bei zu wenig Leistung bzw. zu wenigAmpereaufnahme Aufschweißen im umgekehrtenSinn.

Laurad undKreiselkammer

Gearbox:

First oil change after 50 hours of operation, further oilchanges after ever 200 hours of operation.

Control oil level frequently and refill if necessary, max.to control plug (level check). Additives such asMolykote are useful when the pump is in heavy use.

Mantle pipe:

Oil mixture in the mantle pipe (no oil change needed).Control oil level frequently and refill SAE 30/40 ifnecessary (approx. 2.5 liters per meter piping), max.to filler plug.

Attention!After the first five hours of operation all boldsare to be pulled tight.

1. Loosen 4 Screws M16 of the volute and removethe ring cap.

2. Loosen the lock nut, remove the washer.

3. Take off the impeller. Plug 2 hexagon boltsM12x20 into the existing holes of the hub of theimpeller and place the arms of the removal devicebehind the bolts head.

4. To reduce the diameter of the impeller grind or sawthe rotor blades (8 mm thickness).

A rule of thumb:

Per ampere of too much power input, reduce eachrotor blade by approx. 1 mm in radius.

If the current consumption seems to be too low (toolittle performance), weld on the impeller in the reversesense.

Fixieren der GrubentraverseMounting of the pit traverse

Beide Hilfsschienen−Stücke mittels mitgeliefertenDübeln befestigen:

1. Löcher 20 mm bohren.

2. Schraube im Dübel von Hand so festziehen, daßsich der Dübel mit Widerstand ins Bohrlochschieben läßt.

3. Schraube festziehen und dann wiederherausnehmen.

4. Grubentraverse aufsetzen und festschrauben.

Herausheben bzw. Versetzen der Pumpe in anderePumpstellen mittels Frontlader:

Dazu nur 2 Schrauben M16 an den Hilfsschienenlösen. Grubentraverse bleibt an der Pumpe (für Seil,Kette usw.).

GelenkwelleShear coupling drive shaft

Sicherheitskupplung der Gelenkwelle schlepperseitiganbringen.Normal−Gelenkwelle nicht mehr als 30°−40° abwinkeln, Weitwinkel−Gelenkwelle bis max. 70°.

Profilrohre müssen midestens noch 20 cm ineinaderragen. Innen− und Außenprofilrohr mindestens 1 mlang.

Bewegliche Teile öfters nachschmieren, besondersKreuzgelenke und bei Weitwinkel−Gelenkwelle dasZwischengelenk.

Achtung!Die Scherschraube der Sicherheitkupplungmuß den Herstellerangaben entsprechen!

Both short brackets are to be fastened by theprovided pegs:

1. Drill boreholes 20 mm.

2. Tighten the screws in the peg by hand in such amanner that peg and screw slide into the boreholewith resistance.

3. Fasten the screws and remove them afterwards.

4. Mount the pit traverse, fasten the screws..

Lifting or moving the pump to other places using afront loader:

Loosen only 2 bolts M16 at the short brackets. The pittraverse remains at the pump (for a rope, chains etc.).

Pit traverse

Attach the safety clutch of the drive shaft at thetractors side. Do not bend normal drive shafts morethan 30° to 40°. Wide angle drive shafts up to max.70°

The square tubes must overlap by at least 20 cm.Interior and exterior square tube must be at least 1 min length.

Lubricate rotating parts frequently, particularly theuniversal joints and the intermediate joint of the wideangle drive shaft.

Attention!The shear pin of the safety clutch must complywith the manufacturer data!

Netzspannung und Frequenz vorInbetriebnahme prüfen nach Angaben aufMotor−Typenschild.

Bei Aufstellung im Freien sind keine besonderenSchutzmaßnahmen notwendig. Überfluten ist jedochunzulässig.

Vor intensiver Wärmestrahlung (Sonnenstrahlung)müssen die Motoren abgedeckt werden (gegenAufheizung).

Die Drehrichtung ist durch einen Pfeil am Schutzdachgekennzeichnet!

Vorsicherungen bei E−Motoren 380 V, 50 Hz, 1450U/min.

Check mains voltage and frequency beforeline up. It must comply with the specificationsgiven on the motors name−plate.

When setting up in open−air no special preventivemeasures are necessary. However, do not flood thepump.

Cover the motor to protect it against heating fromsolar radiation, when necessary.

The direction of rotation is given by an arrow in thecanopy!

Achtung!Die Schutzbügel wurden von derBerufsgenossenschaft gefordert. In

Transportstellung sind beide Bügel senkrecht nachunten geklappt. Falls die Grubenöffnung breiter als70cm ist, sind diese Bügel ca. 45° schräg nach außenzu stellen und fest anzuschrauben, damit Unfälledurch Abrutschen in die Grube verhindert werden.Grubenbreiten über 90cm sind entsprechendabzudecken.

Einsetzen:� Pumpe in Transportstellung über die

Grubenöffnung fahren. Deichsel hochklappen, dasLenkrad ist dann eingebremst. Wenn nötig, Spurverbreitern durch Lösen der Knebelschrauben undAusziehen der Steckachsen bis zum Anschlag.

� Den Arretierhebel unter die Arretiernaseeinschwenken, damit die Pumpe beimHochschwenken nicht nach unten rutschen kann.

� Mittels rücklaufgesicherter Seilwinde die Pumpehochschwenken bis die seitlichen Zapfen in denAufnahmetaschen am Fahrgestell einrasten. BeideKnebelschrauben festziehen.

� Den Arretierhebel öffnen und die Pumpe mittelsder Seilwinde in die Grubenöffnung absenken.

Attention!The protection guards were required by theprofessional association. In transport position

both frames are folded downwards. If the opening ofthe pit is broader than 70cm, these frames are to beplaced at approx. 45° outwards and the bolts are to betightened firmly to prevent accidents by slipping intothe pit. Pit widths over 90cm are to be coveredadequately.

Setting Up:� Move the pump in transport position over the pit

opening. Lift the drawbar to fix the steering wheel.If necessary, the trace can be widened byloosening the capstan−head screws and pullingout the wheels.

� Swivel the locking lever under the bolt to preventthe pump from slipping downwards when tilting itup.

� Use the winch to tilt up the pump as far as thelateral taps lock in the intakes at the undercarriage.Tighten both capstan−head screws.

� Open the locking lever and lower the pump into thepit using the winch.

Achtung!Kabel nicht einklemmen!

Motor nicht in Flüssigkeit tauchen (keinUnterwassermotor)!

Die Führungsrohre müssen mindestens zu 2/3 in denGleitschienen bleiben, andernfalls muß eineVerlängerung aufgesetzt werden!

Verlängern:

Verlängerungsteil von oben auf die Pumpe setzen undankuppeln. Die Führungsrohre müssen dabei über dieFührungsschienen ragen.

Inbetriebnahme:� Rühren

Die Knebelschraube unterhalb des Handhebelslösen und den Handhebel im Uhrzeigersinndrehen. Zum Feststellen Knebelschraubeandrehen. (Handhebel zeigt genau in Richtung desRührstrahls). Rührbereich bis Anschlag.

� PumpenZum Pumpen den Handhebel gegen denUhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag drehen, so daßder Rührbogen mit dem Bogen der Steigleitungvollständig abschließt. (Ansonsten fällt die Pump−leistung ab!) Zum Feststellen die Knebelschraubeandrehen.

BetriebOperation

Rühren in der GrubeAgitating in the pit

Wichtig!Vor dem Entleeren ist der Grubeninhaltdurchzurühren, um Schwimmdecken und

Feststoffe zu zerkleinern und zu homogenisieren.

Vorsicht! Giftgase und brennbare Gasekönnen dabei frei werden. Rauchen undGebrauch von offenem Feuer ist verboten.

Verbindungsöffnungen Grube − Stall verschließen.Beim Rühren in Gruben innerhalb des Stallesgenügend lüften. Nicht in Gruben hinabsteigen.Während des Ausbringens der Gülle aufs FeldHandhebel auf Rühren einstellen. Ergibt Zeitersparnisund Grubeninhalt setzt sich nicht ab!

Sicherheitshalber die Grubenöffnung maximalabdecken!

Attention!The cable must not get caught!

Do not dip the motor into the liquid. (nosubmersible motor)!

The guide tubes must remain at least by 2/3 in thesliding rails, otherwise an extension has to be put on!

Mounting the extension:

Put the extension section on top of the pump andcouple it. The guide bars must exceed the guide rails.

Start−Up:� Agitating

Loosen the capstan head screw below the handlever and turn the lever clockwise. Fasten thescrew to lock the lever. (the hand lever points tothe same direction as the agitating jet does). Theagitating area ranges as far as the lever will go.

� PumpingFor pumping turn the hand lever counterclockwiseas far as possible. Assure that the tube bendcloses completely with the tube bend of the uptakepipe (otherwise it will result in a loss ofperformance!). Fasten the capstan head screw tolock the lever.

Important!Before emptying the pit, agitate to cut up andhomogenize solids and floating covers.

Caution! Poisonous and combustible gasescan emerge thereby. Smoking and use of openfire are forbidden. Close any connections pit −

stable. When agitating in pits within the stable makesure there is sufficient air. Do not descend to pits.Adjust hand levers during the yield of the liquidmanure on the field to agitating. This saves time andthe liquid manure remains homogeneous in the pit!

For safety reasons cover the pit opening asgood as possible!

� Motor brummt (2−Phasen−Lauf):Überprüfen:SicherungenZuleitung und KabelSteckerSchalter und MotorErdung

� Motor wird zu heiß und Schutzschalter springt zuschnell aus:Überprüfen:Spannung (Volt) im Betrieb, beim RührenStromaufnahme (Ampere)Die Werte dürfen die Angaben auf demMotorleistungsschild nicht überschreiten!

Spannung zu niedrig − bewirkt zu hoheStromaufnahme.

Ursache: Zu schwacher AnschlußwertZu schwache ZuleitungTrafo zu weit entfernt.

Abhilfe: Stromzufuhr verbessern lassen.Pumpenlaufrad verkleinern.

� Pumpleistung ist zu schwach:Ampere−Aufnahme des E−Motors prüfen, evtl.Pumpenlaufrad vergrößern.Das Pumpmedium ist zu dick. Etwas Flüssigkeit(z.B. Regenwasser) zusetzen.

� Pumpe geht zu schwer:Fördergut ist zu langfaserig.Eingezogene Fremdkörper (Seil, Sack, usw.)

� Eletric motor hums (2 phase operation):Check:motor protectionpower supply and cableplugswitch and electric motorgrounding

� The electric motor becomes too hot and the fusereleases:Check:Voltage when operating and agitatingAmperageThe values may not exceed the specification of theengine given on the nameplate!

Voltage is too low − This causes a too high powerinput.

Reason: Connected load is too weakMains power supply is too weakTransformer is too far away.

Remedy: Improve the mains power supply.Reduce the diam. of the impeller.

� Pumping performance is too low:Check the current consumption of the electricalmotor , maybe increase the diam. of the impeller.The liquid media is viscous. Add some water (e.g.rain water) to make it fluid.

� The pump is rough−running:Long fibrous solids within the liquid.Foreign bodies were caught by the impeller (rope,bag, etc.)
