– NFPA20 designed systems: We arefollowing the guidelines andprinciples of the NFPA 20 standard. The pump is rated for for 150%capacity on 65% of the rated headoutput. The drivers used are eitherdiesel-electric or diesel directdriven. No hydraulics are used.
– Large capacities and highpressures: The firewater pumps aredesigned for high output and lowenergy demand. The Eureka Pumpshas no limitation to capacity andpressures required for firewaterpump applications on offshore unitstoday.
– Low System complexity: Throughsimplicity we achieve higherreliability and lesser possible failuremodes. The Eureka firewater systemdesign is clean with few parts andfew interfaces. Due to the highoutput of our pumps we can do thejob with only one pump.
– Complete systems: We supplycomplete firewater pump packages. All types of enclosures can bedelivered. Control systems may besimple NFPA 20 controllers or PLCsystems with multiple functions.Extra fuel tanks, fin fan coolers andAFFF systems can be supplied.
– Self contained systems: The Eurekafirewater pump systems are self-contained and fully operational for 24hours with all auxiliary equipment. No external influence can stop thefirewater pump in a fire emergencysituation.
