YEAR 6 JACKETS
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We had beautiful weather for our Cross Country carnival on Friday. It was also great to see so many parents come along to watch their children participate. The District Cross Country Carnival is on this Friday 11th May at Bowraville. Those students who qualified will receive a permission note today.
Due to the District Cross Country, there will be no assembly this Friday. The next assembly will be on the 25th May.
Due to a change in the staffing entitlement, the office will be unattended on Mondays and every second Tuesday. If you arrive at the office and it is unattended please see me in my office or in the library. Mrs Mitchell is on long service leave for the next six weeks. We welcome Mrs Kim Robbins to the school who will be relieving for Margaret.
Next week is NAPLAN week. Years Three and Five will be completing their NAPLAN in the library with me on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday 23rd May we will be having a Cancer Council Morning Tea at school. Below is the website where you can donate online. More information about this event will be distributed over the next couple of weeks.

CROSS COUNTRY
2018 Cross Country Report2018 Cross Country ReportFast feet and happy smiles were seen at the annual Eungai Public School 2018 Cross Country Carnival that was held last Friday. After weeks of practice it was finally time to put all of the training the children had done into motion. It was wonderful to see so many parent and family members turn up to encourage the students. All students gave 100% effort and the teachers were very impressed with their ability. Just a reminder that the District Cross Country Carnival will be held at Bowraville this Friday. Students who have qualified will be sent home a note giving more detailed instructions about the day. Congratulations to all Eungai Public students on a wonderful day.
