• These kind of databases are generally too linked to each met. Service.

• The Group agreed not to take specific action on this topic, but decided to inform the EUMETCAL community that the group may help on organizing locally databases on High Impact Weather, if requested.

Snow Week (2-5 February 2010):

– 2 presentations from the group

Warning Week (2nd Week of October)

- 1 presentation already proposed, but others to set

3 – Cooperate with EUMETNET EMMA program:

- WG members participation in Meteoalarm forum (1st feedbacks by January 2010)

- Case studies development on Warning Decision and Issue Procedures as the key topic (November 2010)

Tasks for next 12 months 4 – Template for Simulator of warning cases (and also non-

warning!)

Why? Because each Met. Service has its own way of dealing with warnings

Advantage? Each Met. Service can include its own material

How? Cooperation with Techical solutions WG aiming to a joint workshop on Flash for trainers (late 2010?)
