Preliminaries Respond briefly to the following
prompt: "People often leave movie theaters in tears. Has this ever happened to you? Name a movie that made you cry (or at least made you want to cry), and describe the specific scene that emotionally moved you to this point.”
Objectives: The students will be able to
identify examples of pathos in Animal Farm.
The students will be able to write and present an original eulogy for the character Boxer.
The students will be able to explain how the pigs profit from Boxer’s death.
