Irish Continental Group (ICG) is a leading maritime basedtransport group. We carry passengers and cars, Roll On Roll Off freight and Container Lift On Lift Off freight on routes between Ireland, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
The container division of ICG provides a short sea door todoor service between Ireland and Continental Europe, anddedicated Feeder services to the major deep sea containerports in the UK and Europe. The division operates a fleet ofmodern container vessels including the largest and fastestships in the short sea trade, with proven schedule reliability.
Eucon Shipping & Transport Ltd. is the container division ofIrish Continental Group, Ireland’s largest shipping company.
Eucon provides a lift on /lift off (Lo Lo) container servicebetween Ireland, the UK and the Continent, connecting theIrish ports of Dublin, Cork and Belfast, with the Continentalports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Le Havre (Radicatel).
We operate from ICG wholly owned container terminals inthe ports of Dublin and Belfast, operated by our sistercompanies, Dublin Ferryport Terminals, (DFT), and BelfastContainer Terminals, (BCT), both of whom employ the latestmodern and efficient handling machinery and systems.

Eucon operates a fleet of modern, fast, environmentallyfriendly container ships, with capacities up to 975 TEU’s. It is the largest container service in and out of Ireland andoffers the most comprehensive port coverage and frequencyof sailings in the short sea business.
Eucon’s equipment fleet offers 20’ standard, 40’ and 45’palletwide containers, as well as a range of specialistequipment, including 45’ Hicube palletwide refrigeratedcontainers, and curtainsider containers,20’ and 40’ open topcontainers and flatracks.
Eucon have highly experienced staff in the area of customerservice to handle your bookings, who are supported by ourown offices in Dublin, Cork, Rotterdam and Antwerp, and bya network agency structure throughout Europe and theformer Eastern Bloc.
