EU-FLEGT• In 1998, after international meeting of G8, EU

adopted the action plan to address the problem of illegal logging and related trade.

• In 2003, EU action plan for Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade was set out to tackle illegal logging.

• on 2005 the EU Commission received the mandate by EU MS to negotiate no FL 2173 and 2008 no 1024 FLEGT Licence and VPAs were issued by implementing legislation.

• In 2010, EU Timber Regulation(EUTR) applicable from 3 March 2013.
