Unravel Me08-21-11Working through the yoga and savasanaPraying that the knots in my hips and backwould be releasedthe imprints of driving, sitting and stressingToo muchon top of an area that was off kilter upon entrythis time around

This prayer sprung to mind

Unravel meRemove the knots in my bodyThat keep the energy from flowing freelyreceiving and giving healing through this vehiclewhich is a unique gift allowing me to be presentin this time and this place, to witness and wonderto learn, to love, to dance the dance of life

Unravel meRemove the bindings of the reptilian brainwhose sole focus is survival and dominationtake me to the realms of my alliesBeloved dragon kinWho embrace the Great Pearl of Wisdomand bring blessings to all they encounter

Unravel melet the bindings of my mind be loosenedfrom the ego driven bondage of sanskaraspatterns that are outmoded from this lifeand othersKeeping me from the bright intelligencewhich is always revealing more, teaching morefresh and fast and illuminatingthat tiny glimpse of God Herselfas she spins universes outand draws them back within

Unravel meLet my Heart and the Love it servesbe free of patterns of dualitysuch as fear and abandonment and that lonelinessThat comes from the lie of separationLet Spirit and Love rejuvenate that which I call Self

Bread-crumb Blues02-04-10Did I know that having you in my bedWould make me miss you so?Don’t think I really gave it much thoughtAs the hunger already had me in its thrallI thought I was used to its ebb and flowMaybe it was listening to Soon last nightHearing more dimensions to itSince our flesh to flesh connection

I wonder if the only easy way to be embodiedIs achieved with enlightenmentIn my path though, the body is considered a blessingJust as the Tibetans remind us that it is a precious giftTo achieve human form as spiritual growth is possible then

The Divine Lady reminds me that all acts of love and pleasure are sacredBelonging to herHer ritualsPerhaps that is my answer thenThe gift was in the loving

I have contemplated a lot the last couple of daysThe wounds we each carryThe healing that we can giveAnd receive from each otherThe depth and complexity we each carryBright and dark aspects both need to be acknowledgedMade fully consciousAnd loved equally

I have to remind myself of thisFor years I ran and hid from my shadowIn doing that it became the monster under the bedRather than just a part of me that needed to be held in the LightSpirit reminds me that it does not create brokenJust works in progress

Blessing of the Sun 49

in any caseThe shadow of insecurity and blues and lonesomenessIs just part of what arises in the process of loving youPart of the shadow playPlaying peek-a-boo with me, and I respond to it:I see you – I know you – You are part of me – you do not rule this Heart

There is no crisisThere is no lack of loveThere is no problem

Our bond is strong and trueLike the golden filaments of light that connect me toThe Mother EarthWe are connected in Love and LightI release my fears once againAnd see they are no more substantialThan the fluff that blows off the dandelionIn that first windy gust of Spring
