How to start?


ETS 4 Workflow! When creating a new KNX installation from scratch, one will perform the following steps in ETS 4:

1.Start the ETS4

2.Create a new database

3.Import manufacturer product (catalogues)

4.Create a new project

5.Create an installation

6.Adjust product parameters

7.Download and check the project

8.Exit ETS4



1. Start the ETS4

Frequently asked questions ETS4!


4. Does ETS4 run also on Windows 7? Yes.

ETS4 can be installed on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 32/64 bit versions. ETS4 can be installed in parallel to an ETS3 (provided the operating system is able to run ETS 3).

3. I’ve already bought an ETS; are there upgrades to ETS4 available? Yes.

The price depends on which ETS version you want upgrade (ETS2/3). At any rate, the upgrade price is lower than that of new license.

2. Is it possible to test ETS4 for free when it becomes available?Yes.

You can download a DEMO version for free. The only limitation is the amount of devices you can use in a project (3). Also KNX bus access (going online) is possible.

1. Can use my projects from ETS2 and ETS3 also in ETS4?Yes.

ETS4 allows import of projects/ products from the first ETS2 version up to all ETS3 versions.
