COURSE OVERVIEW This course will give law enforcement personnel an opportunity to explore and discuss the state of ethics and moral reasoning in the criminal justice system, with a special emphasis on the day-to-day realities of polic-ing.Strategieswillbeofferedtohelpimproveethicaldecisionmakingonpersonalandprofessionallevels.Inaddition, participants will have an opportunity to develop strategies for creating and maintaining a positive ethical climate within their own work environment.
Successful completion of this program will authorize graduates to present the eight hour Law Enforcement Ethicsandthesixteen-hourEthicsforFieldTrainingOfficerscourseswithintheirownagenciesorlocal/regionalacademies.
