with the study of the Quran.

Islam and Contemporary Ethical
Dilemmas
Situation that often involves an apparent
mental conflict between moral imperatives, in which to obey one would result in transgressing another.
Moral imperatives originate inside a person's mind that compels a person to act.
Ethical Dilemma
Islamic civilization, since the time of Prophet
Muhammad (s) until now, is firmly founded on the concept of ‘rule of law.’
For that reason, the law is published and known, and citizens and courts are expected to uphold it.
Muslim citizens must adhere to Islamic law - Shariah. If a Muslim citizen commits a religious violation, he is judged according to Islamic law. A non-Muslim citizen is judged in religious issues by the laws of his own faith.
Islam is a complete package – a complete
message and way of life. Islam looks to the benefit of the society, it covers
the three essential needs of human life: physical, intellectual and spiritual.
These three aspects of the faith are known individually as:
Islam – Divine law Imān - Belief Iħsān - Ethics and moral character
Objectives of Shariah: Establishment of justice; Educating the individual; Upholding morality, in public and private; Preventing hardship, on individuals and
society; Preventing oppression.
The Shariah covers all aspects of human life.
Classical Shariah manuals are often divided into four parts: …personal acts of worship;… commercial dealings;…marriage and divorce, and penal laws.
Ethics of Islam deal with those things that are prohibited in Islam and prohibition of which is beneficial to all mankind.
Issues faced by current generation : Employee theft, Drugs and alcohol Misuse of proprietary information Abuse of company expenses Conflicts of interest Discrimination in hiring and promotion
Such things that shake the pillars of one’s existence.
Organizational Factors:
Products Trading(Halal & Haram )
Mounting and implementing code of ethics in such an organization is undoubtedly flawed in the traditional sense.
The reasons for Qur’ānic legislation on all matters were: To improve the position of women and orphans To eliminate blood feuds prohibition of gambling Forbid wine-drinking Forbid Interest
THANK YOU!!!
