Ethan Allen Gallery Event Grand Opening

The Details

Proposed Date: December 7th 2012

Time: Starting at 7:00pm

Objectives: increase brand awareness, develop new consumers, increase market share by 10%.

Challenges: bring the proper target audience and bringing a large amount of people

Guests: there will be a bar tender and tour guides. The guests will be a market of 20-40 year old couples, looking to upgrade or continue to grow the relationship with the brand.

Other Data: The goal of this event is to create brand awareness, and customer relationships.

The Theme

The theme for our “Ethan Allen Gallery Event” is an elegant art night, featuring the furniture as the pieces of art.

The idea for the set-up is a combination of Ikea meets an art gallery.

The smaller event is a side lounge. The theme for this room is a more comfort type. This is where we’ll have the more modern pieces of furniture.

Pre-Event Communications

We will utilize social media and the invitations themselves to catalogue who will be attending event.

The invitations include how guests will be greeted and a QR Code

The event will be promoted through our other Ethan Allan retail

The Event • Decor: The décor for our event will be the furniture. All of the walls

and flooring will be white so that the furniture itself stands out to its maximum potential.

• Entertainment: The lounge area has a hockey game, alcohol and food. For the main area there is music playing from the speaker system, classical.

• Food: Endearing sandwiches and various types of alcohol

• Event within Event: Upon arriving guests are greeted by the store owner and towards the end of event a he will give a short speech. At the end guests will be invited to register for an exclusive membership.
