ETH Zurich, Systems Ecology: Principles and Modeling A. Fischlin & H. Lischke 1 a 1 b Check List For the Analysis and the Modeling of Ecological Systems The check list on the pages 1b to 3b below was taken from the appendix (p. 69-73) of following booklet: Jeffers, J.N.R. 1982. Modelling. Outline Studies in Ecology. London: Chapman & Hall, 80pp. ISBN 0 412 24360 1. 1 It contains questions that have proven to be often quite useful. For instance, when you work on Assignment A2, remember points 1 to 24. If you try to analyze and/or model an ecological system, I recommend to ask yourself the listed questions and you should progress faster. The listed questions try to encourage you to advance only in small steps, an approach that has demonstrably shown to catalyze the solution of the problem at hand much more efficiently than one might initially assume. 1 Is also available as pdf @ web portal

Check List For the Analysis and the Modeling of Ecological Systems

The check list on the pages 1b to 3b below was taken from the appendix (p. 69-73) of following booklet:

Jeffers, J.N.R. 1982. Modelling. Outline Studies in Ecology. London: Chapman & Hall, 80pp. ISBN 0 412 24360 1. 1

It contains questions that have proven to be often quite useful.
