Rules and Regulations

1. Application forms must be filled in English only;

2. The Application Form needs to be complete in all respects;

3. Employees and immediate family members of the award management organizations, sponsors and partners of the awards are not allowed to participate in the Awards;

4. Applicants can provide supporting material if they wish to assist the jury in evaluating their application;

5. All information submitted as part of the Award will be kept confidential and will only be used for jury’s assessment;

6. If two entities from the same group apply in the same category, then the jury will decide the category fitment and winner;

7. The Jury has right to reclassify Application Forms from one award category to another, from fitment and category definition perspective;

8. Each submission will be pre-screened using the same eligibility and selection criteria that will be used in the final judging. All applications will be evaluated by eminent Jury members to determine the finalists;

9. Winners of previous year “ET Family Business of the year” will not be considered/ are not eligible for the current year award process;

10. Disqualification of entries is at the sole discretion of jury, on a case by case basis. The said disqualification will be as per the rules and regulations defined for the Awards;

11. The finalists will be notified prior to the event. They will be required to maintain confidentiality of the results until the official announcement of the winner at a gala event to be held on 18th in the month of January 2019;

12. Efforts will be made to adhere to the defined timelines. However, the defined timelines are subject to change based on circumstances;

13. The declaration must be signed by an authorized signatory from the organization – Chairman/ MD/ CEO (any one of them only);

14. If Applicants are unclear as to the Rules & Regulations or any element of the Awards or have any queries/concerns pertaining to the Awards, they can write in with their questions, concerns or queries on [email protected].
