I came back down to earth to execute you. I wanted to show the people that I am on their side about the use of the death penalty. I wanted to let the people know that I didn’t really mean what I said about no more ‘eye for an eye’. If the people want revenge, then I do too, because I want your vote. To hell with standing up against the establishment and the baser motives of mankind. I went through crucifixion over that kind of crap when I was on earth the first time. I’m not going through that again. So, see, I’m one of the people. I say we get back at this guy, stick the juice to him. I’m sick of God being the only one that can get vengeance. Man-o-Man will I feel good when I can finally smell your flesh burning!

Hey, Jesus, don’t worry about it. I would do the same thing to you if I got the chance. If you guys believe in retribution and killing, why shouldn’t I? Now that I’m about to die I’ll confess that I did several killings, execution style, on people who crossed me. I got the message the State sent me a long time ago. Execution is the way to go! When I killed those guys, I sent a message to anyone who would ever think about crossing me. Great idea, ain’t it!

Natural man does not act in a vacuum. The acts of natural man have their source in a life history and in a complex configuration of environmental forces. Conscious decisions have their source in internal and external factors that are not present to conscious awareness and in many instances their source is not accessible to conscious awareness. This lack of conscious awareness of sources includes both the life history factors and environmental factors. The nature of these two factors are actually very difficult to conceptualize in spite of their tremendous significance. The injunction ‘know thyself’ is based on this philosophy and enjoins us to overcome this natural condition. A life long enterprise!

ESPeople make the ‘rational man’ assumption about themselves and others. The essence of this assumption is that human acts are ‘ahistorical’ and are formed in a virtual vacuum, devoid of outside social-environmental influences. People further assume that all sources of action are immediate, conscious intentions. All calculations for decisions are based on immediate perceptions and evaluations. Evil acts, therefore, must have their source in ahistorical, conscious intentions devoid of external influence. Bad acts must have evil intentions.
