My wife and I went to Estonia this summer. We've been there twice before, both times with other family members. This time it was just the two of us, though we did manage to find some family there to visit. We were late getting to O'Hare and the only two seats left on the plane were in business class. The euro was at $1.32. Jaani kirik is an old church in Tartu. We climbed 135 steps to the top and looked out over the city. On the way to Tartu we bought a smoked fish (suitsu kala) and vegetables. On the way back from Tartu we found a picnic table by the lake and ate the fish and vegetables. That will be one of our favorite meals ever. Tallinn is becoming commercialized.
