Gunning & Company Estate, Moving & Liquidation Sales, LLC conducts business on the Main Line of

Philadelphia and surrounding Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks Counties. Our services have also been

provided in Delaware and New Jersey. We pride ourselves on assisting clients and their families with liquidating

their belongings with care and understanding.

processes we are faced with when hired to conduct a sale. Just imagine the time

and effort required to complete all of the proper steps to a successful sale – so you

want the best! Identifying and researching your contents for sale is also a time

consuming process, but it is essential that we take our time and tap our vast

resources to price each item to maximize results!

hoW it Works:

• A complimentary initial consultation to discuss objectives, timing, strategy and contract review

• Defining sale dates is next. We recommend dates at least one month from the initial consultation; however

we understand that in today’s fast paced world that may not always be possible.

• Spiral Marketing is targeted, defined and implemented

• Depending on the size of your sale, we begin staging 2 to 3 weeks in advance of the sale. We like to

photograph items just after agreeing to the sale terms in order to maximize exposure. Experience shows the

more exposure online the better the sale result

• Experts are tapped to maximize pricing

• Furniture, art and large items are tagged with detail and price

• Small items are beautifully organized, tabled and priced

• Sale is advertised via appropriate media

• Sale is arranged, staffed and timed for best results

• We usually conduct our sales over a Thursday, Friday and Saturday normally from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

However we can and will conduct a sale on a Sunday or Holiday if it means better results

• Daily tally with descriptions are emailed at the end of each sale day

• We work on a percentage of the gross sale

hoW WE MarkEt:

Marketing is one of the most important aspects for a successful sale.

We employ various marketing approaches and techniques. They are:

• Web Based - We subscribe and post to EstateSales.com, EstateSales.net, ListMySale.com and local area

online sites such as Patch.com and others

• Internet - Your sale will appear on our website www.gunningco.com

• Email Marketing - Our electronic mailing list contains over 3,000 individuals that will receive a

customized announcement the day before your sale. We also send additional emails to our customers as

the sale progresses.

• Social Media - We integrate our marketing through social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter,

LinkedIn and Pinterest.

• Point of Sale Marketing - We provide information on upcoming sales, via flyers at the checkout desk.

• Newspapers - With the advent of online and web advertizing, less readership is employed via local

newspapers. If we feel the sale warrants newspaper advertizing we will discuss this option with the client.

• Signage – Professional outdoor signage will be employed during the hours of the sale. Many

municipalities have sign ordinances, so we will check with the local authorities prior to the sale as to

proper placement on roads and highways.

Special note: The address of your sale is not made public until 9:00am the day prior to the sale with online

marketing. If we choose to advertize in local newspapers the address may appear several days before the sale

begins, this will be the decision of the client.
