Fol low these steps to track your KMs automatical ly:1 . Download the Fitbit , Strava or MapMyFitness app and set up your account2. Log in to your [charity or event name] account.3. Under the heading ‘Connect your preferred Fitness app’ , cl ick your chosen app.4. Fol low the prompts to connect your account5. When you next work out , select ‘start your workout ’ in the app on your phone.Once you end your workout , save your workout and your distance wi l l be publ ishedto the tal ly on your page the fol lowing day.
I f you have synced your app already but i t is not working, please log in and re-connect i t .When using Fitbit , you must ‘start ’ an activ ity and save it . Your dai ly steps wi l l notautomatical ly add to your page. I f you are having issues, try syncing through BOTHyour F itbit and the Fitbit app on your smartphone.
When using MapMyFitness, you must ‘start ’ your workout , ‘stop’ your workout andthen ‘SAVE’ your workout.Your tal ly wi l l be updated each day with the previous day’s distances.

You can manual ly add your k i lometres to the tal ly in your My Fitness Activ ity tab ofyour prof i le after register ing. This is a great option i f you’re using a pedometer or adifferent method of tracking your distances.
Fol low these steps to manual ly add your KM's:1 . Log in to your account and select ‘My Fitness Activ ity ’2 . Under ‘Add activ ity ’ , enter the date and distance3. The number of KMs wi l l now appear on your fundraising page!
When Darkness to Dayl ight goes l ive on the 1st of October , you can run or walk , swimor r ide, whenever you want , for as long as you want.You then log the distance on your fundraising page through your device.Alternatively , you can manual ly upload your activ ity .You have 30 days (1-30 of October) to complete your 1 10km individual chal lenge.Your fundraising prof i le page includes your personal distance tal ly so you can trackyour distance towards your target. This is a great way to keep your fr iends updatedon your workouts!
