2014 Movie : HUNGER GAME (MOCKING JAY) and THE MAZE RUNNER have a massive difference to each other. from the characters to the story.

In the maze runner - Dylan o’ Briens the main character of the said movie who plays the role of Thomas, who act as the Catalyst, who wanted to be a runner. He has a single mindedness which he pursues answers about the glade and its purposes shows that while he wants to know about his surroundings, it’s more to alleviate his feelings of disorientation rather than to ponder the bigger questions. his purpose in the movie is not only to serve as our burgeoning hero, but to be our guide through the world. The main character, who plays Katniss is a 16 yrs old girl. who is strong, who is far more mature than her age. she is the main provider of her family. Katniss is fiercely protective of her younger sister, Prim. and she volunteers to take Prim’s place in the hunger game to protect her. She is responsible for feeding her family, which she does by hunting and foraging, skills she learned from her father before his death. Katniss realised that, without her hunting, her family wouldn’t have enough to eat, a serious problem in district 12., where starvation is common.

Katniss has grown into a tough, unsentimental, and practical girl. ironically, the hardships she faced as a result of her impoverished upbringing wind up working to her advantage once she’s in arena. the skills and the qualities she developed to cope with the everyday challenges of being poor, including her ability to hunt, her toughness, and her resourcefulness, turn out to be what keeps her alive through the games. Katniss purpose in the movie is to find what is true and to fight what is right.

The story of two movies definitely contrast. the story of the maze runner which happened in glade, where Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a gigantic maze that will require him to join forces with fellow “runners” for a shot at a escape. but the road isn’t going to be easy, as any who dares enter the maze finds himself hunted by monsters called grievers, which are half-animal, half-machine.

Furthermore the opponents in the hunger game happened in north america in Panem. that maintains its hold on its 12 districts by forcing them each to select a boy and a girl, called tributes, to compete in a nationally televised event called Hunger Games. where every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until one remains. the story is centred around Katniss from district 12 tribute, who volunteers for her 12 years old sister, Prim. when Prim’s name is chosen. and Katniss’s fellow district 12 tribute, Peeta, with whom she has some rather dramatic history. Katniss is then rushed to the capitol, where she undergoes training before being thrust into the arena to fight to become the victor of Seventh -Fourth hunger games.

As a conclusion the film in 2014 Hunger Game (Mocking Jay) and The Maze Runner have effective science-friction film both deliver predictable fighting phenomenon movie. both movie received good feed back from the audience .
