Pediatric Urology is defined as the subspecialty of both Urology andPediatric Surgery concerned with clinical recognition, prevention, treatment(surgical and non-surgical), and the rehabilitation of congenital andacquired diseases, malformations and functional problems of thegenitourinary system in children and adolescents. Over the years PediatricUrology has un-officially developed, expanded, matured and established itsdiverse body of knowledge and proficiency. Some procedures performedtoday are so demanding that they should only be performed in Centres wherethis sub-specialist knowledge and skill has been accumulated and welldeveloped. This Symposium concentrating on “Innovative Strategies inPediatric Urology” is bringing together among the best leading experts inthis field from all over the world for three days of intense and productivework aiming at an appropriate update. This is a unique opportunity and weare looking forward to welcoming you in Bologna.
