The residues of pesticides used in agriculture usually remain on the bottom of the spray tank at the end of the periodic agricultural lands treatments. Moreover, these residues are often spilled directly on the ground (unfortunately widespread) by means of an illegal and danger- ous practice, creating punctual pollution. As “Proambiente Consortium” we are mostly interested in Advanced Remediation Processes (A.R.P.s) treatments of polluted water with the aim of restoring water quality for further uses in industry and agriculture. During this coffee talk we will introduce a simple prototype (called IRRAOP) that takes ad- vantage of A.R.P. methods for the degradation of residues of pesticides, as an example of technology transfer. The residues of pesticides used in agriculture usually remain on the bottom of the spray tank at the end of the periodic agricultural lands treatments. Moreover, these residues are often spilled directly on the ground (unfortunately widespread) by means of an illegal and danger-ous practice, creating punctual pollution.

As “Proambiente Consortium” we are mostly interested in Advanced Remediation Processes (A.R.P.s) treatments of polluted water with the aim of restoring water quality for further uses in industry and agriculture.

During this coffee talk we will introduce a simple prototype (called IRRAOP) that takes ad-vantage of A.R.P. methods for the degradation of residues of pesticides, as an example of technology transfer.
