9.00am – 9.15am : Celebration of Learning class certificates will be presented in classrooms of students in Stage 2 and Stage 3. (3/4K, 3/4B, 3/4W, 4/5G, 5/6K, 5/6W, 5/6S)

(Parents are welcome to be in your child’s classroom to celebrate their learning with them)

Years K- 2 Presentation Assembly (hall) Celebration of Learning class certificates will be presented during this ceremony.

Silver BBQ Monday 10 December 2018 Invitations will be given out this week to the children who have earned their Silver Award and have traded in their Bronze awards.

Gold Morning Tea Monday 17 December @ 9.15am Invitations will be given out this week to the children who have earned their Gold Award and have traded in their Silver awards. Parents of Gold Award Winners are invited to this special event.

Dear parents & caregivers

Kindergarten Enrolments for 2019: Your child is eligible to enrol at our school if they are five or turning five on or before 31 July 2019. If you will be enrolling your child for Kindergarten next year, please contact the office staff for enrolment details.

If you are applying for ‘Out of Area’ enrolment, contact the office staff for the appropriate form and return the form to the school as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee placement for ‘Out of Area’ children until we review all the applications. Each case is considered separately.

Students leaving the School (except Yr 6) Please let Mrs Lume in the office know if your child(ren) is not returning to Eschol Park PS next year. We need to organize classes and numbers and need this information in order to do this.

Leaders for 2019 Our very nervous leaders will be presenting their speeches on Friday 7 December 2018 @11.30am. Parents of the speakers are welcome to attend this assembly. Students in Years 2 - 5 will vote for the captains and vice captains from this group.

Sports Assembly Friday 7 December 2018 @ 2.00pm We will be acknowledging all our sporting stars at this assembly. Parents are most welcome to attend.

SCHOOL PLANNING INFORMATION The last day of school for students this year is WEDNESDAY 19 December 2018.

All staff members have completed time in lieu for the two professional learning days that are scheduled for 20 and 21 December 2018. They have remained back at school on four occasions until 6.30pm completing various learning activities and evaluative projects. Therefore, there will be no staff at school on these two days.

School Crossing Supervisors – Work with your community 1 x Casual position – Campbelltown Local Government Area (00006NU9)

An important person in a child’s school life is the School Crossing Supervisor, who ensures they cross the road safely. The role

requires minimal hours out of your day and gives something worthwhile back to the community.

The hours are usually 8.00am to 9.30am and/or 2.30pm to 4.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms. You may be

required to work morning, afternoon, both shifts and no shifts. As a casual you will be filling in for existing part-time staff as

required. The base rate is $23.02 - $27.62 per hour.

All the qualifications you need are community spirit, good communication skills, an alert and professional attitude to work and a

reliable personality. The casual hours and school holidays would suit a parent or grandparent, a retiree or anyone wanting meaningful

work — but not full-time.

Training for your key responsibilities of directing traffic to stop at the designated crossing and giving clear instructions to infants and

primary school students to cross the road safely, will be provided. You may be required to attend a health assessment. Appointment is

subject to a Working with Children Check clearance.
