Angus Drummond, the founder of Limitless Travel, was 22-years-old and working as an investment banker when he was diagnosed with a muscle weakening condition called Muscular Dystrophy. As part of the diagnosis, Angus was told that his mobility would decline over time and that one day he would be confined to a wheelchair.

This came as a devastating shock and Angus knew that his life would never be the same. Shortly after his diagnosis, Angus spontaneously quit his job, donned his backpack and decided to travel the world to experience as many of its wonders as possible before travelling became too difficult. Angus and his wife explored over 35 countries, canoeing the coast of Vietnam and even climbing Machu Picchu along the way.

Throughout the journey, Angus’ mobility began to decline and certain aspects of travel became more challenging. Yet it was through travel that he learned about different cultures, tried new foods, made lifelong relationships and adopted an increasingly positive outlook on life. Recognising that travel and its benefits should not be exclusive to the able-bodied, he decided that he needed to do something that would enable the wider disabled community to travel without limitations. So, from Angus’ first-hand experience of travelling the world with a disability, Limitless Travel was born.

Since then, Limitless has flourished into a specialist holiday provider for people with a wide range of mobility restrictions and disabilities. The Limitless Travel team is made up of people who have disabilities themselves, as well as specialists in the care industry and disability experts. This ensures that our travellers know their needs aren’t just listened to, they’re also understood.

Our StoryOur Story

"Limitless Travel is more than a travel company. To be Limitless is a mindset; it means to push yourself to experience things you wouldn't think it was possible to achieve. We support people to see, achieve and experience the wonders that the world has to offer. From North Wales to the other side of the globe, we want everyone to be able to pursue their aspirations through travel."

Angus Drummond,CEO & Founder

We love hearing all about the fantastic experiences our Limitless Travellers have on tour with us. Here are some of our favourites:

“We had extreme confidence in the support team, and totally enjoyed every minute of the support and quality of our holiday” – Andrea Fieldan & Mark Berry

“This was our first holiday in 3 years, and what a revelation it was. We felt so comfortable with all the staff and other holiday makers. Limitless went out of their way to make our holiday special. All our needs were catered for at the accessible hotel, and our trips were well organised.” – Linette Buck

“Limitless Travel are the only company I have used which show such advanced thinking for the disabled traveller. The staff were all very cheerful, positive and worked extremely hard to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers” – Barbara Huntley

“The tour team were like angels, ensuring that I could have a lovely and stress-free holiday” – Paul Cattaneo

Personal Care - One-to-One Package

How Our Care Package Personalisation WorksEvery Limitless traveller benefits from a personalised care package. How does that work in practice? Well, we start by giving you a call and discussing your specific needs. This allows us to establish which of our care packages is best suited to your particular circumstances. Then, we tailor your package to reflect the way you want to enjoy your holiday.

At Limitless, we recognise that all of our travellers are different and have distinct needs and preferences. Some people like to dress themselves, while others prefer a little help. Some want help showering and some are happy to

do it alone. Often, travellers are more than capable of performing certain tasks but lack confidence when attempting others. It’s different for everyone.

By personalising your care package, we’re able to create a detailed support plan that works for you. There are no extra charges for personalisation, it’s just a part of the Limitless service. If you have any questions regarding our care packages, please don’t hesitate to give one of our Limitless Travel Advisors a call.

BuddyFor many people, travelling with a disability is a nerve-wracking experience. The Limitless Buddy Package is designed to help physically independent travellers who don’t require personal care but would like a little emotional support, encouragement and company. If you receive support at home, reside in a supported living environment or are worried about travelling, this is a great package for you.

PusherOur Pusher Package is ideal if you need a little help propelling your wheelchair when you’re on holiday. Whether you’re somewhat unsteady on your feet and prefer the comfort of a chair or you just want to sit back and enjoy your trip without the worry of propelling yourself, our team will help you get wherever you want to go.

MedicationAt home, many Limitless travellers are supported in taking their medication. On our tours, the Care Team can step up and help with that. We ask that all travellers submit their medication lists in advance. This ensures we can tailor your care package to your prescription instructions and that you get the assistance you need, when you need it.

As with all our care plans, the Personal Care One-to-One Package is personalised, ensuring you receive the support you need from the moment you start your holiday. With this package, you’ll be assisted by a fully qualified member of the Limitless Care Team in both the morning and evening. They’ll also be on-hand to help you with toileting during the day. Our One-to-One Standard Care Package is an excellent option if:● You need assistance getting in and out of bed in the morning ● You need support when getting ready for the day● You require some support with toileting or have continence needs ● You currently receive some one-to-one support at home

Personal Care - Two-to-One PackageWith our Personal Care Two-to-One Package, you’ll be supported by two members of the Limitless Care Team in the morning and evening, as well as receiving assistance with toileting during the day. This enables us to provide all the support included in the One-to-One Package, as well as help that requires the presence of two carers, such as hoisting when transferring to and from a seat or bed. Our Two-to-One Care Package is perfect if:

● You need to be hoisted for some transfers● You are unable to transfer without the help of a carer● You receive two-to-one care and support at home

One-to-One All Day Care - Standard PackageOur One-to-One All-Day Standard Package expands on the Personal Care Package by ensuring you’re accompanied by a Limitless carer throughout the day. As well as receiving assistance in the morning and evening, you’ll have the support of a carer when we head out on excursions or spend time at the hotel. This makes it the ideal option if you desire additional help and feel as though you would benefit from the presence of a carer to help manually push your wheelchair and provide individual assistance while out and about.

One-to-One All Day Care - Extra PackageThe One-to-One All-Day Care Extra Package builds on the One-to-One All-Day Care Standard Package by ensuring there are two carers on-hand to provide support whenever it’s necessary. You’ll still receive one-to-one assistance with personal care and manual wheelchair pushing throughout the day, just as you would with the Standard Package. However, the additional pair of hands ensure you also receive help with hoisting when you transfer to or from a seat or bed.

COVID-SECURE OPERATINGHere at Limitless, our number one priority is making sure that all of our travellers feel ready to have a fantastic break, safe in the knowledge that we are providing the best possible experience

whilst you are enjoying your Limitles Travel holiday.

We are looking forward to all of our 2021 holidays running as scheduled, and our dedicated team is ensuring that we’re following the latest advice on all of our holidays, so you can sit back and enjoy a well-deserved break away.

We are happy to confirm that our Limitless Travel Guarantee remains in place for all 2021 bookings.

This means that if government advice affects your ability to travel, or if you test positive for coronavirus ahead of your holiday, you can transfer your holiday to another date in the future

completely free of charge and still look forward to a fantastic trip with us at a time which is best for you.

We’ve increased the number of carers on every trip, allowing us to maintain an even higher standard of safety and care, and just some of the extra measures we will be taking on each tour include:

• Reducing group numbers on all our tours to help maintain social distancing.

• Regularly cleaning and disinfecting all coaches prior to and during tours

• Ensuring our on-tour teams are trained in Covid-secure operating throughout your holiday

Please note that tour-specific information regarding Covid secure operating will be provided to all travellers as circumstances change, and we will continue to update our guidance over the coming months.

We know how important it is that your holiday gets off to the perfect start, so we use the same accessible coach transport on all of our UK holidays. That way, we can guarantee problem-free travel to, from and during your Limitless holiday.

All of the coaches we use benefit from:

Hydraulic lift access and flat floor access to seats

Our coaches are equipped with hydraulic lifts that guarantee easy access if you’re travelling in a wheelchair or suffer from mobility impairments. There are also no steps inside the coach, ensuring flat-floor access to all seats and the onboard toilet.

Comfortable and spacious seating

Whether you’ve got a short or a long journey ahead of you, we recognise that your comfort is of the utmost importance. Consequently, our coaches all feature spacious seating and a luxurious finish. We want your holiday to start the moment you’re picked up, so nothing less than the best will do.

Up to six secure wheelchair spaces on every coach

If you don’t want to transfer to a standard seat and would prefer to remain in your wheelchair for the duration of the journey, you’re welcome to do so. Our coaches

feature up to six wheelchair-dedicated spaces where your chair can be safely secured in place.

Large hold area to store equipment

On your Limitless holiday, you may travel with extra equipment or a significant amount of luggage. Our large hold area is big enough to store any and all equipment you may need to bring.

Experienced drivers with disability awareness training

Not only are our drivers experienced on the road, but they’ve also been through disability awareness training. This ensures they’ve got a good idea of the challenges you face and how they can best look after you.

They’re friendly, helpful, chatty and very much part of the Limitless family. You’ll have the same driver throughout your holiday, so you’re sure to get to know them as you travel the UK together.

A comprehensive cleaning for every tour

All of our coaches are thoroughly cleaned before and after every tour to ensure they’re in perfect condition and that you’re able to travel with total peace of mind.

We would recommend that you arrive at your designated pickup point at least 30 minutes prior to the time notified on your 1 week to go email to ensure that you are on time for the coach. Our coaches will be parked in the coach parking area of your designated service station, and you will receive contact numbers for your tour manager in case of any delays on the day. We cannot accept responsibility if you are late for your pickup, however if our tour manager is advised of any delays they will endeavour to assist in making alternative travel arrangements to get you to your destination, or to your home. However, any costs or loss incurred in making these plans as a result of lateness will be your responsibility.

LuggageIf you are vacating your accommodation after check out and have to wait for your departure from resort, your luggage remains your responsibility during this time. Whilst our representatives may be able to suggest where luggage can be stored, this will be entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any luggage left unattended.

Our RepresentativesOur representatives include our Tour Managers and Care Team, and are carefully selected to offer you ,advice and care. You will be given a contact telephone number for our representatives.

Availability in Resort and Accommodation Facilities

In some resorts and hotels, certain advertised facilities may not be available or fully operational in the early and late part of the season, due to the number of participating holidaymakers and weather conditions. Also air-conditioning and heating, where mentioned, may be available only at certain times of the day or year at the hotelier’s discretion and at an additional cost. Such situations are regrettably beyond our control.

Breakages and Deposits

You will be expected to pay for any damage or breakages caused to your accommodation. This must be paid before you leave the resort. Property management reserve the right to evict you from the accommodation where deliberate damage/breakage has been caused. We will not accept any responsibility for your actions in such cases.

Swimming Pools

Most hotels do not employ a lifeguard. Please ensure that children and non-swimmers are supervised at all times and observe the pool rules at your accommodation. If you wish to use the pool hoists, ramps, or any other access equipment, please ensure you do so in a safe and considerate manner. If access equipment is damaged, an amount may be payable directly to the hotel to cover the cost of repair. If you wish to dive please check that the water is deep enough and that the property allows diving. You should exercise caution around pool areas since pool surrounds are often slippery when wet and you should not enter the pool after drinking alcohol. Please note that swimming pools may be temporarily withdrawn for maintenance purposes.

Fire Safety

Please read carefully all safety information which is available in your hotel or apartment. On arrival, always familiarise yourselves with the nearest fire exits in your room or apartment.

Standards and Safety of Beaches

Swimming outside of designated beaches is very dangerous. We recommend that you swim on main beaches and avoid remote rocky coastlines. Familiarise yourself with the Local flag warning systems and seek local advice on which beaches are the safest. Check whether the beach has lifeguards and swim parallel to the shore within your depth. Children should be supervised at all times and there should be no swimming at night. You should also be aware of any “zones” for jet skis and power boats and stay well away. Any access equipment on the beach is used at your own risk, and you should carefully consider your health and mobility before use.

Alcohol

Whilst many enjoy indulging during holidays, there are times when alcohol is best avoided. Soft drinks are widely available in resorts, and bottled water is recommended when abroad. Alcohol

consumption should be avoided before swimming and during sunbathing, as it causes dehydration. Drunken behaviour in accommodation and on-board aircraft can result in you being asked to leave the accommodation or the aircraft accordingly. We cannot accept responsibility if such situations arise, and while we will endeavour to assist in making alternative travel arrangements to get you to your destination, or to your home, any costs or loss incurred as a result will be your responsibility.

Carriage of Infants

Infants must be over 6 weeks old to travel by air and must be under 2 years old on the date of return to qualify as an infant. Charges for the carriage of infants vary from airline to airline and relevant charges will be advised at the time of booking. Cots and baby food are available in most resorts, but must be paid for locally.

Meals

Please bear in mind that guests with special dietary needs (for example, vegetarians, vegans and different cultures) may not find the same variety or options available that they are accustomed to. Travellers must ensure that they let Limitless Travel know about any dietary requirements prior to departure.

COVID-19 SPECIAL NOTICEIf you are presenting any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to your tour, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of travel, in line with government advice you must remain at home and should not travel. Please email [email protected] if this is the case. Evidence will be required to prove that you are self-isolating due to COVID-19. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you will be required to show a negative test result prior to attending the tour before we can finalise your place on the tour. If you are unable to travel or provide a negative result within a week of the tour departing, you are entitled to transfer any payments made towards your holiday free of charge as travel credits onto an alternative date (please be aware any increase in the holiday price will be applicable). If you choose to cancel your holiday your cancellation will be subject to our standard booking terms and conditions, and travel credits cannot be redeemed as a cash refund. If you pay a remaining balance for a tour, it will be held in a secure account. If the government’s advice changes more than 30 days prior to departure and the trip can no longer go ahead, you will be able to move the balance to another trip, take a travel credit towards another holiday until 2022, or be refunded your balance payment in full within 14 days. We are required to pay our suppliers for upcoming tours at the 30 day point, so if the government’s advice changes after this point, you will either be able to move the balance to another trip or take a travel credit*. * Please Note - We cannot always guarantee cash refunds within 14 days at this point (less than 30 days prior to departure) as suppliers will have been paid. However, if you request a refund we will work as hard as possible to arrange this for you. In the meantime you will be issued with a refund credit note until a cash refund is available, and our team will be happy to discuss this process further at this stage.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have someone to travel with who is capable of assisting you to an emergency exit on an aircraft. Deposits & PaymentYou will be required at the time of booking to pay us a non-refundable deposit, typically 20% of the quoted holiday price, and the full holiday price of a booking should be made at least 90 days prior to departure. Payment of a deposit enables Limitless Travel to hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the total price of the tour. The price can only be guaranteed once we receive full payment and tickets and/or other travel documents have been issued. Limitless Travel will advise you of the date that full payment is required. All prices shown are 'from prices' and we reserve the right to alter the prices of any of the holidays shown on our website or in our brochures. You will be advised of the current price of the holiday that you wish to book before your contract is confirmed. If the deposit quoted is less than 20% (for example,

We also reserve the right to cancel such a booking in the event that numbers fall below the required number at any time up to 30 days prior to your due date of departure.Flight Booking ProcedurePlease note that most airlines prefer travellers to book their flights directly when booking assistance, therefore this is not a service that Limitless Travel provide. We recommend that travellers organise their own flights and make us aware of these details so that we can organise transfers between the arrival airport and our resorts. When booking flights, travellers should ask for assistance if required, and ensure that they confirm whether they will need electric wheelchair assistance and hold space, hold space for a manual wheelchair, or for any other equipment. They should ask to include extra luggage if required, in relation to the amount of hand luggage their airline offers as standard. Travellers should also note that many airlines have restrictions on the size of wheelchairs that they can accommodate, so it is their responsibility to make their airline aware of this prior to booking. Most airlines request that special assistance is

requested not less than 48 hours in advance of flying, but advise to make special assistance arrangements as soon as possible. Limitless Travel will advise clients of our recommended flight 3 months prior to the holiday – this will be the flight that our carers will also be travelling on to provide extra assistance. Please note that flight cost, seats, luggage and equipment hold space is all subject to availability at the time travellers book. We check the availability to ensure that there is availability for bookings at the time this 3 months to go email is sent. We advise that travellers book as soon as possible following this email to ensure availability.
