AUTOMATIC START-UP & STOPPING

The weight inducting device under the platecan detect the weight of passenger who isstepping onto the plate (weight inducting rangeis adjustable) and will automatically start theoperation of the unit. operation. This ensures steady smooth

operation with a long operating lift.

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION

The automatic oiling and lubricating system

fulfils the essential requirements to lubricatethe transmission chain during the operating.

1 Static Contact Eliminates build up of static electricity on the pallets

2 Emergency Stop When activated, will stop the travelator / escalator

3 Skirtin Contact Will detect the resence of an obstructions between the allet & the skirtin late

4 Finger protection device Will detect the presence of an obstruction at the handrail entry point

5 Main Drive Chain Contact Monitors the position of the drive chain and will stop the lift in the event of excessive wear

6 Over Speed Monitor Monitors the speed of the escalator and prevents it from going into overspeed

7 Underspeed Monitor Monitors the speed of the escalator and prevents the unit running at underspeed

8 Reversal Protection Stops uncontrolled reversal of the travelator / escalator

9 Phase Protection Inthe event of a phase failure or reversal, the travelator /escalator will stop

10 Short circuit Contact In the event of a short circuit, Isolates electrical supply to the escalator / travelator

11 Motor Overload & OverheatContact

In the event that operating current exceeds a pre-set value, this will stop the escalator / travelator
