• Accountability – navigating the ever-evolving rules and requirements of both state and federal accountability, including PBMAS and Data Validation Monitoring
• Administrative/Campus Leadership – team and culture development, PDAS, T-TESS, P-TESS, GPC and new teacher orientation
• Campus & District Snapshot – observation, analysis and detailed feedback on classrooms, facilities and environment, including the new MAPSS web-based campus snapshot tool
• Curriculum Council – updates on legislative changes, resources and timely curriculum and assessment initiatives with an opportunity to network with other administrators
• Instructional Rounds – systematic improvement effort that allows administrators and teachers to learn from each other to identify actions that will increase student achievement
Superintendent Leadership ServicesOur Field Service Agents provide a liaison to connect district superintendents with ESC Region 12 programs and services. They act as a link of communication between ESC Region 12, TEA and education agencies, providing crucial policy and governance assistance.
Superintendent Leadership Academy Co-opThis academy is designed to combine networking, dialogue, technology, field-based experience and expert presenters to meet the needs of both beginning and experienced superintendents. Topics are based on current issues and superintendents’ interests.
School Board TrainingThe School Board Training Program provides professional development and required training to school board members. Topics include:

The Alternative Certification Programs at ESC Region 12 are designed to offer a cost-saving alternative to traditional colleges and universities for prospective teachers, paraprofessionals or current educators seeking certification. Services are offered at convenient times, using a blended model of face-to-face and online instruction at an accelerated pace that makes them a viable option for working professionals.
Counselor CertificationESC Region 12, in partnership with ESC Region 4, provides online counselor certification. The program courses are offered online through ESC Region 4, with internships supervised by ESC Region 12. Participants must have a master’s degree and submit an application to ESC Region 4.
Benefits include:• Flexibility of online course• Integrated theory and practice• Practicums can be completed anywhere in state of Texas• Cohorts beginning February and August of each year
ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATION &
Master Teacher CertificationA certified Master Teacher teaches content and serves as a content teacher mentor. The ESC Region 12 Master Teacher Preparation Program provides approximately 100 hours of instruction, preparing participants to take the appropriate certification test for possible master teacher certification in Reading (K-12), Math (EC-4, 4-8, 8-12) or Science (EC-4, 4-8, 8-12).

Principal Preparation & Certification Program (PPCP)
The Principal Preparation and Certification Program (PPCP) provides an alternative to the traditional certification path for ESC Region 12 customers. Educators who enter this program must possess a master’s degree and have completed at least two years of creditable teaching experience.

ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATION & TRAINING
Master of Arts in TeachingESC Region 12 facilitates the offering of a Master of Arts in teaching through Louisiana College as a dual enrollment in conjunction with our teacher certification program. Students will receive 15 hours of credit toward the 33 hours required to obtain the Master of Arts degree when completing the Pre-service Training of the TPCP program.

Customized Accounting, Bookkeeping & Payroll ServicesESC Region 12 can provide full service bookkeeping on an annual or as needed basis. These services are also available as short-term emergency assistance and can be considered part of a district’s disaster plan.

MASTER TEACHERCERTIFICATION
A Master Teacher is an individual who holds a Master Teacher Certificate and whose primary duties are to teach the content
and to serve as a content teacher mentor to other teachers. Master teacher certification will result in deeper content and
pedagogy knowledge to effectively instruct struggling students and to effectively mentor campus teachers.
The ESC Region 12 Master Teacher Preparation Program (Master Reading or Master Math Teacher Certification) provides approximately 100 hours of instruction, which includes:

LEX Labs at the Baylor Research & Innovation Collaborative (BRIC)The Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 has partnered with Huckabee, an educational architectural, engineering and management firm, and the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC) to design and test the next-generation of innovative classrooms and laboratories in a near-6,000-square-foot educational research facility located in the BRIC. The partnership constitutes the first project fully dedicated to one of the founding objectives of the BRIC: furthering education and research in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Response to Intervention (RtI) SupportThis program provides professional development through training, technical assistance and leadership to district and charter school personnel to develop a district/campus framework that addresses the needs of all students. This is accomplished through a continuum of services which provide high-quality instruction and tiered intervention strategies aligned with individual student needs for grades K-12, frequent monitoring of progress to make results-based academic or behavioral decisions and the application of child response data to important educational decisions.

Title I, Part C - Migrant Services SupportDirect services and support is offered to migrant students and families in Region 12 LEAs under the Title I - Part C Migrant Education Program, which was designed to support programs that help migrant students overcome the challenges of mobility, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, and other difficulties associated with a migratory lifestyle.
Services include: • No cost professional development• An assigned Migrant Service Coordinator (MSC) • Training for MSC and migrant program personnel • Assistance in the identification and recruitment of migrant
students • Migrant student data entry services through the New

District participants in the SSA direct the flow of these funds to ESC Region 12 to obtain training and professional development.

ESC12 Videoconferencing OnlineESC12 Videoconferencing Online (ESC12 VCO) brings the future of education to your students and the Telecommunications Network provides IP-based bridging services and technical support for single and multi-point videoconference connections.
ESC12 VCO member benefits can include:• Access to professional development• TETN events open to districts• Student programs• Customized programs (via request)• Technical support of videoconferencing services• Access to Video-Conferences through an application
that works on PC, Mac and mobile devices (currently Zoom)
Student programs include, but are not limited to:

Technology Coordinators and Contacts meetings are offered four times per year via video conferencing.

ESC REGION 12 TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATIONFormed in 2012, the Technology Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is part of a vision to continually leverage resources and drive more money to students and teachers in the classroom, where it is needed most.
The foundation’s focus is to help Region 12 schools with educational technology programs and place instructional technology into the hands of students by awarding annual instructional technology grants to regional educators.
To date, the foundation has awarded 19 grants totaling $161,000 to make our vision become a reality.
