The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is an autonomous, not-for-pro�t research

institute, established in 1974, in India. It is focused on research activities in the �elds of

energy, environment, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable development.

TERI is pro�cient in green buildings and has even developed a unique rating system for

Green Buildings, GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment), which was
