Resource Development Coordinator
Position SummaryUnder the direction of the ERYC Executive Director this position supports the mission of the organization by
engaging in fundraising activities, supporting outreach initiatives, building community partnerships andrelationships and performing general office duties and other responsibilities as needed.
Position Responsibilities
ERYC Grantwriting and Event Management
Maintain ERYC’s fundraising and sustainability plan Develop and maintain ERYC grant calendar Identify, refer and pursue collaborative fundraising opportunities
Research potential grant opportunities and pursue at least 8 new grant proposals annually with 50%applying for general operating funds, while maintaining current grant partnerships
Ensure all grant reports are submitted in an effective and timely manner Manage ERYC Valley Tastings: Food for Youth Fundraiser Coordinate two additional fundraising events annually, and explore new event opportunities
Building community partnerships and relationships
Engage corporations and cultivate individuals as partners to support with ERYC efforts Serve as a liaison with community outreach initiatives, including as the staff chair of the Fundraising
Committee
Maintain ERYC database Support in developing newsletter and newspaper content as needed
Community Projects Oversee Biennial Healthy Kids Colorado Survey and dissemination of results Support in planning, implementation and evaluation of all ERYC programs
General Office Perform general office duties and support with ERYC projects as needed
Additional Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, communication, or related field. Bilingual English/
Spanish speaking preferred. Non-profit and fundraising experience preferred, or equivalent combination ofexperience and training.
The Resource Development Coordinator position requires a high level of professionalism, strong organization
and attention to detail, and flexibility.
The position will occasionally require duties outside of normal working hours. Travel to meetings and events
throughout the county, to Denver, and out of the state may be required. It is important that the candidate isable to conduct themselves in the most courteous and professional manner at all times.
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. (mid to high $30,000’s)
