On each trial of the content-embedded alphabet task that was administered in this study, a short list of words was presented sequentially for 1.5 s each, and participants had to mentally rearrange them to output them in alphabetical order. Complete proce- dural details are available from the second author. Most important, all of the statistical outcomes reported in the original article are correct, and all of the qualitative conclu- sions still hold.
