Akashi is actively involved in standard-setting process in Japan and is a member of various working groups of the Accounting Standards Board of Japan. He is a lecturer at Waseda University Graduate School. He has extensive experience in sectors such as technology, automotive and logistics. He has headed a number of large IFRS conversion projects for various clients including Hitachi, Canon, Japan Tobacco and Mitsui Corporation.

Guy is a member of the Canadian Securities Administrators Financial Reporting Advisory Committee and the Canadian Accounting Standard Board’s IFRS Discussion Group. He has extensive experience in mining and metals, oil refineries, automotive and aerospace sectors. He has been involved in several major clients including, Agnico Eagle Mines, Irving Oil, Magna International, Bombardier, DAE Aviation and Newfoundland Capital.

Danita is a member of the IFRS Advisory Council of the IFRS Foundation and the Financial Reporting Executive Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Her former roles include vice-president in the Corporate Accounting Policy and Advisory Group of Citigroup, project manager on the research and technical activities staff of the US Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB). She is responsible for the firm’s IFRS technical accounting guidance and consultative services within the Americas practice involving several large clients.

James is a member of the IASB and the FASB’s Joint Transition Resource Group for Revenue Recognition. He counsels audit teams in various sectors across sub-Saharan African countries. He has extensive experience in mining and metals sectors.

Dolphy is a partner with an India member firm of Ernst & Young Global. He is a member of the IFRS committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He was a member of IFRS convergence committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), IFRS convergence committee of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of Government of India, the SEBI Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards and the Accounting Standards Board of the ICAI. He has authored several books on financial reporting including Ind AS. He has been involved with many Indian and multinational clients including Bharti, Cairn Energy, Vedanta, Siemens, L&T, Castrol, Fiat, Arcelor Mittal & Tata Group.

John is a member of IFRS Interpretation Committee of the International Accounting Standards Board. He was the deputy Chair of Australian Accounting Standards Board. He has extensive experience in mining, telecommunication and technology sector. He has been involved in several multinational clients, including, Telstra Corporation, Philippine Long Distance Telecom, IndoSat, Bitauto, BHP Billiton, National Australia Bank and United Microelectronics.

Eric is a member of True and Fair Working Group, Export-Suisse. He has extensive experience in sectors, such as, life sciences, diversified industrial products and automotive. He has been involved in clients such as, Actelion, Vitol, Ciba, Autoliv, Syngenta, Holcim and Citrix.

Leo is a member of the corporate reporting consultative working group of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). He has contributed on development of the European Commission’s policy in the area of European accounting harmonization. He has served as member of the International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), the IFRS Advisory Council of the IFRS foundation and the Advisory Committee on Financial Reporting of the Netherlands Authority for Financial Markets. Leo also advises a number of multinational enterprises on IFRS topics.

Michiel was member of the IASB’s expert panel on Measuring and Disclosing the Fair Value of Financial Instruments in Market. He has extensive experience in banking and financial services sector. He has been involved on several large banking clients including ING, Rabobank and UBS.

Paul is a member of the Institute of Charted Accountants in England and Wales. Paul has assisted a number of companies with IFRS conversion in Brazil and major UK listed companies. He counsels audit teams in various sectors across South American countries. He has extensive experience in sectors such as retail and consumer goods, agriculture, energy, aviation, and mining. He has been involved in large clients including BR Foods, Gol and Avianca and Banco BTG.

Tommy is closely involved in the convergence and adoption of IFRS in China and Hong Kong. He has served in various professional committees and panels of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Chinese Institute of CPAs and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He was the Deputy Director of Hong Kong Institute of CPA and the accounting advisor to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. He has extensive experience in banking and manufacturing sectors and has been involved in many big clients including Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

Tony is a principle advisor to the European Accounting Committee of the International Swaps and Derivative Associations (ISDA). He represents EY in the IASB roundtables and European Union stakeholders meetings on development of the financial instrument standard. Tony has worked with many US banks in their IFRS conversion assessments and advises major financial institutions in the UK and across Europe on financial instruments. He is involved on several major banking clients including Lloyds Bank, Deutshebank and RBS.

Vincent de La BachelerieIFRS Leader – EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, Africa)

Vincent is a member of the Board of Autorité des Normes Comptable (ANC), the accounting standard setting body is France, and member of SFEV, the French society of valuation experts. He is also a member of the advisory board of Aspen Institute, France, an international education and policy study organisation. He has extensive experience of working in sectors such as, telecommunication, automobile and media. He has been actively involved in several multinational clients, including, Telefonica, Orange, Publicis, Fiat-Chrysler and Safran.
