OCCUPANCY SENSOR LIGHTS

‘SAVE UP TO 85 % OF YOUR LIGHTING BILL’

Energy Solutions Botswana introduces Occupancy Lights Management System for the control of commercial and residential buildings lighting systems. Energy Solutions Botswana creates considerable savings of up to 85% of the total cost of electricity used in lighting for its customers. Reduced consumption of electricity by the lighting system will create a massive savings on the overall electricity bill.

HOW DOES IT WORK

When you walk into a room the sensor detects you and turns the lights and air conditioning on. Each sensor has a built in timer (which is adjustable) defaulted to 10 minutes. When there is no movement detected by the sensor, the timer starts counting down. If any movement is detected before the timer gets to zero, the timer resets and starts counting down again. As soon as there is no motion detected for 10 minutes the lights and air conditioning are shut off.

Passive Infrared

Our sensors utilize a (PIR) duel element detector located behind a multi segmented Frensel lens with 1400 switching zones able to detect fine finger movements. Each lens segment generates a pair of collector beams. As heat given off by the human body moves in and out of the beams, the detector ‘sees’ this and triggers the occupancy mode. Microphonics Microphonics technology incorporates a microphone with a PIR detector, providing an ideal solution for areas with obstructions like bathrooms with stall or open cubicle areas. This Passive Dual Technology (PDT) first detects motion using the PIR then engages the microphone to listen for continued occupancy. Sophisticated circuitry tunes the sound detection to sudden noise changes only and filters out the background ‘white’ noise making it able to detect a human presence regardless of motion.

Hi Frequency

Cutting-edge high frequency sensors (HF) invisibly conceal inside the ceiling and instantly respond to the tiniest movement regardless of temperature and direction of movement and automatically switch on the lights. BACKUP GENERATORS

Energy Solutions Botswana provides top quality power generation products and after sales service assistance. We have diesel generators that range from 1kVA to 2000kVA. These generators are widely used not only for emergency power, but also many have a secondary function for providing back up power to utility grids.

Generators available in stock are; HONDA, IVECO, DEUTZ & PERKINS. Because of our philosophy on saving the environment, we encourage our clients to invest in a catalytic converter for their generators, as these will further help to lessen the effects of millions of litres of fuel burnt daily.

Energy Solutions Botswana as part of its service will provide you with an assessment of your power supply needs we assess the correct size genset, bearing in mind that the genset selected, should have an output a little in excess of the total calculation. We always allow for future expansion.

GENERATOR ACCESSORIES

Generating Set Canopies

During manufacturing, the canopy is subject to an anti-corrosive treatment and is lined with sound and fireproof panels. Sound proof separating panels function as noise traps and thermal dividers, ensuring of controlled cooling. The cooling system is designed to ensure maximum performance from the Generating Set. Doors are completely dust and waterproof and allow an easy

Lighting Towers

They are designed and realized to furnish lighting in any condition and can be raised to a height of 12m. The lights on top of the mast can be rotated and inclined to suit the application. These lighting towers are available on low speed and high-speed trailers. High-speed trailers are fully roadworthy and come complete with lights, handbrake, mudguards etc.

Soundproof ISO Standard Containers

These containers are available in 6m, 9m and 12m lengths and can be used in any environmental condition. The containers are built with sound absorbing material in accordance with ISO 2000/14/EC.

Off Road Towing Trailer

This trailer is manufactured for use in off road conditions and is equipped with a height adjustable stabilizer, which allows the generator to be correctly levelled.

On Road Trailer

These trailers are manufactured in several sizes and capacities and are designed for use on tar road conditions. The trailer is provided with a braking system up to 3,5 tons, is equipped with shocks and springs, a heavy-duty axle and electrical system for lights etc. The tow hitch and pneumatic braking system couplers are compatible with civil and military use.

Larger Size Fuel Tank on Board

These larger fuel tanks allow for longer running hours of the Generating Sets between refills. The fuel tanks come supplied with spill tanks with the same capacity as the fuel tank.

Stockage Fuel Tank

Large external fuel tanks with a varied capacity according to the customer’s requirements are available. A number of options are available including spill tanks, ladders, leakage finder etc.

Residential Silenced Muffler

These allow for noise reduction of the Generating Set when operated in built up areas where noise reduction is of importance. Various models are available.

Catalytic Muffler (Converter)

Catalytic Converters through a chemical conversion process are able to ensure low emissions (up to 90%). They include the use of Platinum Group Metals.

Genuine Spare Parts Backup System

Energy Solutions Botswana is able to provide any spare parts requested.

Electronic Remote Monitor for Energy Systems

As an optional extra, generating sets can be fitted with the above system relating to maintenance, oil pressure, temperature etc. The system facilitates the monitoring of these parameters and is set up within the control panel through cell phone or internet technology.

HOW THE AMR SOLUTION WORKS

The FIREFLY MIU transmits current reading; tamper and leak info over RF. MIUs also store usage data at user-defined intervals for later retrieval and analysis.

ROADRUNNER handheld, mobile and fixed network receivers capture and carry data back to the meter reading application.

The RouteSTAR meter reading application receives uploaded data from the ROADRUNNER receivers. It delivers rich, customisable reporting features and manages the information transfer to and from your utility billing system
