FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ERITEK, INC. AND CENCORE, LLC SIGN OFFICE LEASES AT VILLAGE AT LEESBURG LEESBURG, Va. (February 14, 2012) – Eritek, Inc. and CenCore, LLC have signed leases for office space within the 1.2 million square foot mixed-use project at VA Route 7 and Crosstrail Blvd. Eritek, a systems engineering services company, will occupy 1,407 square feet of office and CenCore, a consulting and staffing services company, will occupy 1,969 square feet of office space. Javier Castro with Westline represented Eritek and Frank Schofield with Summit represented CenCore, while Village at Leesburg was represented by its exclusive office leasing team, Rich Vaaler from Sperry Van Ness. Eritek provides system engineering services to commercial and Government clients in the field of radio frequency (RF), satellite, and optical communications, and supplies software tools to academia and system developers. Eritek is a co-author of the VisSim/Comm software application for simulation and modeling of communication systems at the physical layer, which has gained worldwide use and earned several awards. Eritek also provides custom software development services in the area of digital signal processing, including software drivers for Red Rapids data acquisition products. Most recently Eritek has expanded its expertise to the area of optics and laser communications, and is currently engaged in related research and development activities. Some of the new space being occupied at the Village at Leesburg will be dedicated to an optics lab for the company. CenCore provides personnel and consulting services to various commercial and US Government clients assisting in forecasting and managing risk in high-threat environments. “2011 was a great year at the Village at Leesburg,” said John Fainter, vice president of development for the project. “To have Eritek and CenCore join the Village at Leesburg community is a great way to start the year. We look forward to the rest of 2012 and the continued progress of the project.” Village at Leesburg is a vertically-integrated, four-story village which encompasses 57 acres and features approximately 520,000 square feet of retail space, combined with 150,000 square feet of office product and 335 luxury multi-family residences. A Cypress Equities company* is developing the commercial components of the project and Kettler is developing the residential component. The Carlyle Group is the lead equity partner in the development and KLNB Retail is handling the leasing of the retail sections.
