A. FlexMAX® Overview:

The FlexMAX comes in several configurations to meet your specific material handling

needs. We have three standard auger profiles, and four standard sizes which are the

3”, 4”, 5” and 6” casing and auger. Larger units can be built as customs. They have

304SS auger material and FDA approved UHMW flexible casings. The rounded

FastFLO™ hopper corners are designed to prevent material build up and bridging.

The FlexMAX® conveyor can be easily disassembled and cleaned. Standard hopper

sizes are 4, 8, and 12 ft3 and have FastFLO™ rounded corners, 60 Degree hopper

walls and 2B finish. The feed hoppers are available with different configurations or

sizes upon request.

b. Augers and Casings Several auger sizes and profiles are available and the best one for your application is

determined by detailed product characteristics and process requirements. We will

evaluate and test your material to determine the final auger required to meet your

project needs.

c. Discharge Head The discharge head houses the connection of the auger to the drive shaft, motor

mounting and isolation seal plate between the gearbox and the product flow path. It

comes in two configurations the standard square design and the clean flow design.

d. Portable Bases There are portable bases available for many of the FlexMAXTM conveyor sizes. The

length and discharge height of the conveyor will dictate if the portable base is available.

The FlexMAX has two standard configurations available which are the fixed speed and

variable speed controls. We also offer custom controls systems with PLC’s, HMI’s,

Scales, and integration to SCADA or other supervisory systems.
