More than 2000 people participated in the event in 2009.
Men and women will compete in two races:
Classic Marathon Race – 42 km 195 m, and a 10 km race

Roller skaters and ski rollers will run the full course of 42 km 195 m for the first time this year.

Alexander May, CEO ERGO Russ, took part in multiple international marathons.
Mr. May had previously competed in the Berlin
Marathon, the largest event of this kind, and
completed a race in Dubai. In his opinion,
however, none of the marathon races in the
world can compare to the beautiful setting of
the White Nights marathon.

For ERGO Russ, sponsoring the St. Petersburg
Marathon is not only an opportunity to promote
the company. This is an event of great

The event of 2009 featured the first ever children’s race,
ERGO Bambini Marathon in three age groups.

Second-place winners will get video cameras, and third-place
