Aims • to raise students’ awareness regarding recognition and

conservation of the world heritages;

• to recognize the tangible and intangible cultural heritage;

• to build the future in the context of a united multicultural Europe.

Day 1 - 23rd February • welcoming of the partner countries;

• two work sessions about UNESCO Heritage: PowerPoint presentations and a workshop on the lost heritage in the communist regime in Romania and on education for values;

• In the afternoon - visit of the most representative monuments and sights in Bistrita.

Day 2 - 24th February

• experimental learning process, exploring the tangible and intangible UNESCO Heritage in Romania, close to the region of Bistrita;

• day trip to the village of Viscri (UNESCO Heritage site) and to the medieval town, Sighisoara (UNESCO Heritage site

Day 3 - 25th February

• demonstrative lesson about the Danube Delta (UNESCO Heritage site);

• workshop about how a puzzle in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms can be used during the learning process in school and/out-of-school context;

• In the afternoon - Intercultural day (recognition of the Intangible dimension of their national UNESCO treasure).

Day 4 - 26th February • workshop session on how to create magnets and how to design the

magnets which represent UNESCO Heritage monuments;

• workshop focused on how students can develop entrepreneurial competences, combining the art activity and active rest with entrepreneurial ideas;

• In the afternoon all the guest and host students and teachers participated at the festive event at Dracula’s Castle in Tihuta.

Day 5 - 27th February • proposals for new UNESCO Heritage entries

• workshop about the art of Constantin Brancusi

• feedback from each country on the activities, awarding of certificates to all the participants at this meeting;

• In the afternoon – visiting of the historical centre of Cluj and the salt mine in Turda.

• teachers and their students departed according to the timetable of their means of transport.
