Inter-institutional agreement 2016/2017-2020/2021 between programme countries

The inst1tutions named below agree to cooperate for the exchange of students and/ or staff m the context of the Erasmus+ programme. They commit to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Educat1on m all aspects related to the organ1sat1on and management of the mobi lity, in part1cular the recogni t1on of the credits awarded to students by t he partner mstitut1on.

C. Recommended language skills

The sending institution, following agreement with the receiving institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study or teaching period:

o. Additional requirements

SK BANSKA 01:

- The candidates with disabilities can only be accepted after the consultation with Faculty of Education Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica.

- The sending institution on the nomination letter (name, e-mail, area of study, period of study) must notify the International Relations Office/ ERASMUS administrator about their interest in studying at the Faculty of Education Matej Bel University Banska Bystrica one month prior to the deadline

- Students must arrive at least 7 days before the academic year starts - Foreign students comlng to Banska Bystrica are automatically enrolled in the buddy

system (ESN UMB). - Students must attend courses

• Bachelor and Master study programmes- minimum 20 credits perone semester • PhD. students- minimum 10 credits perone semester

- Teachers must notify the departmental coordinator about their interest in teaching at the Faculty of Education at Matej Bel University Banska Bystrica two months prior to their arrival.

The steps of the application procedure for foreign students: 1. Nominatioo of the students by International Relations Office via email one month

before deadline. 2. Sendiog application and provisiooal Learoing Agreemeot sigoed by the students

and sending institution before deadline 3. After having checked the application documents, Silesian University provides the

students with Acceptance letter. The teachers should notify the Erasmus coordinator at least one month before planned arrival.

2. The receiving institution will send its decision within 4 weeks.

3. A Transcript of Records will be issued by the receiving mstitution no later than 4 weeks after the assessment period has finished at the receiving HEl.

4. Termination of the agreement or changes in the data set above can be amended annually if communicated before November 301h. Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict.

2. Visa

The sending and receiVIng institutions will provide assistance, when required, ln securing visas for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.

3. Insurance

The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance in obtaining insurance for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.

4. Housing

The receiving institution will guide incoming mobile participants in find ing accommodation, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.

SK BANSKA01: Foreign students can stay at Universit y residence halls študentský domov 3, Tajovského 51, Banska Bystrica. The residence hall provide rooms wit h three bedrooms. Each floor has a shared kitchen with two electric cookers and a fridge. Students can use universit y wi-fi.
