KA1 Supporting the Mobility of Teachers and Staff

Teaching assignments teachers or other school education staff can teach at a partner school abroad

Job shadowing/observation period abroad an opportunity for teachers, school leaders/other school staff to spend a period abroad in a partner school/another relevant organisation active in the field

Structured courses or training events abroad supports the professional development of teachers, school leaders or other educational staff

Important Criteria

Who can participate: Staff in charge of school education (teaching & non-teaching,

including school managers, heads, etc.), and other educational staff (school

inspectors, school counsellors, pedagogical advisors, psychologists etc.) involved in

the strategic development of the sending school(s)

All participants must be in a working relation with the sending organisation

Number of organisations: Minimum 2 organisations (Receiving organisations do

not need to be identified at the time of applying for a grant)

In the case of a consortium, minimum of 3 organisations from the same programme

country (coordinator + 2 schools).

Duration of project: 1 or 2 years

Duration of activity abroad: 2 consecutive days-2 months (excluding travel time)

Individuals cannot apply directly for a grant

For staff training events:

Sending organisation must be a school

Receiving organisation can be:

- a school or

-any public or private organisation active in the labour market or in the fields of

education and/or training

Budget

Travel: Based on the travel distance per participant. Example for travel

distances between 500 and 1999 KM: €275 per participant

Individual Support: Based on the duration of the stay per participant and

receiving country (usually between €125- €160 per day per participant)

Course Fees unit cost €70 per day

Organisational Support: €350

*Special Needs Support : Additional costs directly related to participants with

disabilities and accompanying persons 100% eligible

Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships in the field of

education, training and youth

Strategic Partnerships aim to support the development, transfer and/or

implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of

joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of

experience at European level.

Depending on the objectives and the composition of the Strategic

Partnership, projects may be of two types:

1. Strategic Partnerships supporting innovation KA201

2. Strategic Partnerships supporting exchange of good practices KA201

Strategic Partnerships supporting

innovation OR exchange of Good Practices KA201

Projects are expected to develop innovative outputs, and/or engage into intensive

dissemination and exploitation activities of existing and newly produced products or

innovative ideas ...

OR

...it allows organisations to develop and reinforce networks, increase their capacity

to operate at transnational level, share and confront ideas, practices and methods. It

also allows schools to expand their international networks through cooperation with

diverse partners such as youth organisations, universities and businesses – as well

as other schools.

Strategic Partnerships supporting

innovation & exchange of Good Practices KA201 cont.

Key Features: Specific funding for Intellectual Outputs and Multiplier Events

Who can participate: Any organisation active in education, training & youth

Participating organisations: Minimum 3 organisations from 3 different countries,

no maximum –all must be identified at application stage

Duration: 1-3 years

Budget: Maximum EUR 450,000

School Exchange Partnerships KA229

...aim to strengthen the European dimension of participating schools, to

build up their capacity for cross-border cooperation and to cope with new

challenges. By organising mobility activities for pupils, these partnerships will

also promote the values of inclusion and tolerance as underlined in the

Paris Declaration.

Projects are ideal for schools applying for their first Erasmus+

partnership!

Key Features: Focus on Mobility Activities + Easier Application process

Who can participate: Only Schools – mobilities pupils & staff

Participating schools: 2-6 schools

Duration: 1-2 years (1 to 3 years for long-term pupil mobility)

Budget: Maximum EUR 99,000 per year
