No, this is not part of the touring Vatican Collection-this piece entitled "The Delivery of the Keys" by Pietro Perugino is a fresco from the Sistine Chapel painted
in 1482. Yes, the photocopied reproductfon is awful, but you get the general idea.
Vatican Collections Tour The Vatican Collection is NOT coming to
Vancouver. This amazing exhibition of 237 works of art from the Vatican ranging from
Greek sculpture of the 5th century BC to contemporary works by Andre Derain and
Henri Matisse is touring North America, and will come no closer than San Francisco so one of the best ways to see it will be
to join Cap's educational tour to San Francisco November 24-27. Cap and four
other colleges have organized this tour which will be led by Dr. James Russell, Professor of Classics and specialist in
Classical Archaeology at UBC. As well as guided tours of the Vatican Collection, the trip will include a bus tour of San
Francisco and plenty of free time for

IMPORT ANT ANNOUNCEMENT The Association of Canadian Community
Colleges is pleased to announce that it will again be operatfng its popular Open
House Canada student exchange program, which is funded by the Secretary of State.
The ACCC-Open House Canada program is designed specifically for groups of 15
FULL-TIME community college students who, in company with a faculty member, will
exchange with a college in another region of the country. All participants must be
Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.
Under the program the ACCC pays all travel costs for participating students and
faculty.
In order to better understand the region visited, participants will be hosted by,
and in return will host, the student with whom they are twinned.
The principal basis for assessing applications wi 11 be a judgement of the
educational content and viability of the day by day program outline submitted by
each applicant college .
While it is anticipated that the majority of exchanges will be of 7 to 10 days
duration, applications are encouraged from colleges intending to operate longer
exchanges involving courses (or a portion thereof) in a mobile format .
Applications are encouraged from both ACCC members (Capilano is one) and non-member
colleges although the former will normally be given priority in the selection process.
Applications will be accepted on a continuing basis until all provincial
quotas have been filled. Since the program is so popular early submission is advised.
The exchanges can occur at any time between September 1/83 and June 31/84 .
A small partfcipation fee of $60.00 per participant is charged to help defray the
administrative costs of the program.
For application forms and further information please phone (416) 489-7642 or write ACCC - Open House Canada, 110 Eglinton Ave., West, Toronto, Ontario,
M4R 1 A3.
