Difficulties Using Idom
1. An idiom or fixed expression may haveno equivalent in the target language
Ex : Formal Correspondence like yoursincerely, yourfaithfully.
2. An idiom or fixed expression may havea similar counterpart in the targetlanguage, but its context of use maybe different; the two expressions may
have different connotations.
Ex : Panjang Tangan (Indonesia language) themeaning in English not only long handlanguage. But only can means a robber.
