FUNDAMENTAL VIEW:-

The market closed higher and break the level of 8900 last week .On the economic data front, the govern-

ment will announce third quarter GDP numbers on February 28, which will be important to watch out for

as the full impact of demonetization will be seen in that quarter. On global front, "US President Donald

Trump is likely to announce its tax plan in the next few weeks. Auto, Media , Telecom , Banking sectors

news will effect the market . Results of election of UP and Auto sales data for the month of February

will be announced next week; hence, auto stocks will also be closely watched, especially after waning of

demonetization impact.

TECHNICAL VIEW:-

NIFTY 50 ended the week on a positive sign and close at 8939.50. The index made a weekly high of

8982.15 and a low of 8809.80 . Immediate resistance for Nifty 50 lies around 8950 level and strong re-

sistance lies around 9100 level. Immediate support lies around 8840 level and strong support around 8700

level. Broad range for Nifty 50 in the week can be seen between levels of 8700 and 9100.

FUNDAMENTAL VIEW:-

Banking sector continued to outperform with Axis Bank ending 4.84 per cent higher while Yes Bank,

HDFC and ICICI Bank gaining between 0.8-1.5 per cent each. Upcoming GDP data also affect to the mar-

ket . Towards the end of next week (on Friday), the market may turn cautious ahead of GST Council meet

that will be held on March 4 and 5.

TECHNICAL VIEW:-

NIFTY BANK ended the week on positive side and close at 20876.65 .The index made a high of

21011.90 and low of 20472.40 in the week. Immediate support for Nifty Bank lies around 20700 level

while strong support lies around 20300 level. Immediate resistance for Nifty Bank lies around 21000 level

while strong resistance lies around 21500 levels. Broad range for Nifty Bank in the week can be seen be-

tween levels of 20300 downside and 21400 on upside.

NILKAMAL Is showing upside trend on chart. After breakout the stock has potential for a fresh rally and

volumes is supporting. On RSI and MACD looks positive . Support for stock lies at 1800 level while Re-

STOCKS IN NEWS

HINDUSTAN UNILEVER :-

Unilever said the shock of Kraft Heinz's opportunistic approach had jolted it to re-examine its strategy, and all aspects of the con-sumer goods giant's business were up for review to increase shareholder value. . It certainly was a trigger moment for Unilever, and we will not waste it," he said at the CAGNY conference in New York in a presentation streamed on its website. Unilever an-nounced a far-reaching review on Wednesday, seeking to show shareholders it could realise the value in the business spotted by its rival.

VODAFONE :- In a step to maintain secrecy of one's mobile phone number getting exposed to retailers for possible misuse, Vodafone on Wednes-day introduced its Private Recharge Mode for its subscribers in West Bengal. Vodafone Private Recharge Mode (PRM)- a free of cost service for West Bengal subscribers, enables users to recharge their mo-bile phones, without sharing their mobile numbers with retailers.

ONGC :-

Oil and Natural Gas Corp, India's top oil and gas explorer, will invest Rs. 7,337 crore ($1.10 billion) in five fields to produce about 15 million tonnes of oil and about 3 billion cubic metres (BCM) of gas, it said on Thursday. India wants to boost its local output to cut dependence on imports from the current 77 per cent. Most of this investment would go into developing the R-Series fields, off India's west coast, that can produce 8.39 million tonnes of oil and 1.696 BCM of gas.

JET AIRWAYS :-

Jet Airways on Thursday announced a reciprocal code-sharing partnership with Hong Kong Airlines, which will enable Indian fliers to travel seamlessly to New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.As part of the pact, private sector carrier Jet Airways will place its marketing code "9W" on Hong Kong Airlines' flights operating between Hong Kong and Okinawa and To-kyo in Japan, Denpasar in Indonesia, Hanoi in Vietnam, Bangkok in Thailand and Auckland in New Zealand.

BHARTI AIRTEL :-

Acquisition of Telenor's business will increase Bharti Airtel's revenue market share by two percentage points to 35 per cent and will add up to $60 million to its pre-tax profits, international ratings agency Fitch said today.The agreement announced today "is the latest sign that the entry of aggressive new operator Reliance Jio is spurring incumbents to consolidate to better meet the in-tense competition and weaker telcos to exit altogether", it said. Bharti Airtel today said it has "entered into a definitive agreement with Telenor South Asia Investments Pte Ltd to acquire Telenor (India) Communications Private Limited" for an undisclosed sum in all seven circles where it holds spectrum.

BEL -

The government today raised Rs. over 1,600 crore from its 5 per cent stake sale in Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) after retail inves-tors bid more than 3.6 times the shares offered to them. Retail investors bid for over 81.87 lakh shares, or 3.67 times, of the 22.33 lakh shares on offer, as per NSE data. The government currently holds 74.41 per cent in BEL.Earlier this fiscal, the government had raised about Rs. 1,800 crore through share buyback of BEL.

RELIANCE INDUSTRIES :-

Reliance Jio on Tuesday announced a new Prime membership offer, though it will charge a nominal price for its services from April 1. The new Reliance Jio Prime plan continues the unlimited benefits that Reliance Jio has offered since its launch. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that Jio has crossed the 100 million customer base mark in 170 days of its launch. Under the Prime offer, existing Jio customers get a one-year extension of current unlimited data benefits, beginning April 2017, at a one-time enrolment fee of Rs. 99 and "a rock-bottom introductory price of only Rs. 303 per month".

TATA MOTORS :-

N Chandrasekaran on Tuesday chaired his first board meeting as the new chief of Tata Sons, the holding company of the $100-billion Tata group. Mr Chandrasekaran, widely known as Chandra, took over as chairman, months after the firm ousted predeces-sor Cyrus Mistry in a bitter boardroom coup with family patriach Ratan Tata returning to the helm temporarily. A public spat between Tata Sons and Mr Mistry followed his removal in October last year and the two are now involved in a legal tussle.
