THE POWER IS ALWAYS ON at Equinix data centers, which have an industry-leading 99.9999% uptime. Our Uninterruptible Power Supply systems prevent power spikes, surges and brownouts and provide near instantaneous backup in the event of electricity loss. Every component critical to keeping us operating has at least one standby component. Our reserve generators have enough fuel on site to keep the power on for 48 hours in an emergency.
